About This Campsite

Welcome to Trailer Tel RV Park

Trailer Tel RV Park is a distinct community catering primarily to RV enthusiasts and those seeking a well-organized and rule-focused living environment. Situated near a major highway, potential visitors should be prepared for some environmental factors such as dust and occasional odors.

Key Features & Considerations

  • Power Supply: The park provides a 30amp power connection which might be insufficient for modern RVs. It is advisable to have supplementary power options such as batteries or generators.
  • Quiet Hours: A strict 9 PM quiet time is enforced, ensuring a tranquil environment, though limiting during festive occasions.
  • Community Rules: Expect comprehensive rules regarding modifications to RVs and the use of outdoor spaces, maintaining a clean and tidy appearance across the park.
  • Amenities: The park offers convenient amenities, such as laundry facilities and yard tools, though there might be some restrictions on recreational equipment for children.
  • Water Quality: The park’s water quality suggests using a filter for the best experience.

Friendly Community and Management

Despite some environmental and rule-related concerns, Trailer Tel RV Park is known for its friendly residents and supportive atmosphere. The management has been praised for their excellent service despite some variations in the administration style over the years. New managers have been well-received, bringing positive changes and fostering a caring community.

Final Thoughts

Overall, Trailer Tel RV Park provides a structured and harmonious living space for those who appreciate a well-managed environment. It is recommended for visitors who are patient with community rules and are looking for a longer-term stay. While it may present some challenges, it offers a warm community with promised improvement in the quality of life for its residents.

More suited to older retirees. The park is situated close to a major highway, which results in a noticeable amount of black dust settling on vehicles and outdoor items. Depending on the wind direction, there's an occasional odor reminiscent of a garbage dump, especially in the front half of the park. The 30amp (at best) power limitation can be quite inadequate for modern rigs. Be prepared to supplement with battery or generator power. Parking spaces are strictly individual, and any modifications to your rig, whether inside or outside, require written approval from the park management. The park's occupancy restrictions are more stringent than those of Santa Clara County. There's a 9 PM quiet time rule that's strictly upheld, even during festive weekends like the 4th of July. It's worth noting that this used to be a 55-and-older park. The shift in demographic has led to some seniors who aren't fond of the noise and activities of children and families. Unfortunately, there's no designated play area for kids, and they're not allowed electric bikes, scooters, or power wheels, though adults can use them. The park's layout can be confusing, leading to delivery drivers often speeding in frustration. The park uses pesticides without prior notice, so residents should be cautious for their pets and children. Only traditional outdoor items like barbecues, plants, and patio furniture are allowed. Children's toys, like playhouses, aren't permitted outside. Pets are restricted in size, with no green spaces provided for them. The pool has limited hours and is closed for a significant part of the year. Its heater isn't fully functional, and the park's Wi-Fi works best near the office. There's some noise from nearby commercial buildings, and while there have been instances of homeless individuals entering, the management addresses it promptly. The water quality could be better, so using a filter is advised. On the bright side, most residents are friendly, with only a few exceptions. However, the management approach can be assertive, sometimes resorting to changing rules or using intimidation tactics. It's not rare to see confrontations between management and residents. In summary, while there are some positive aspects, potential visitors should be aware of the park's limitations and rules.

My father lived here for over 10 years. He loved everything about it. I was his caretaker for the last 3 years of his life as he had terminal cancer. The rules on parking and yard upkeep were very stricked but I am not complaining. As those stricked rules are what keeps the place so nice. The management did change a couple of times but the level of outstanding work from those people never faltered. They are good people with excellent work ethics and the management should be recognized for their outstanding contributions. I highly recommend this RV park to anyone who can manage to be patient on the RV waiting list especally if you plan to stay for an extended period of time. All of the Amenities make it a very convenient place to live and the community is so friendly it's great. They even have 2 car washing stalls as well as access to yard tools and lawn mowers hedge trimmers and edgers. The laundry Matt even had clothes lines for your clothes that you don't want in dryer to air dry!! I can't even think of any way this place could be improved. I will miss going there to visit and care for my father as he made some very nice friends who were so helpful and showed genuine concern for a sick old man. They will be missed.

This was a great RV Park, but if your looking to get in quick no way - they usually have a long waiting list to get in as long as you don’t have to be out of the park at night your okay. Lots of homeless outside the park itself. They don’t have showers to use outside of your own RV, and one bathroom that is only for the pool area is locked up after hours. If you are looking for a clean place to stay and other great amenities it’s a nice place and price I feel is fair for the area. Not too far from stores or restaurants.

APRIL 2022 EDIT: Back to 5 stars! The terrible manager was fired and the entire park is delighted!! So many people were leaving, or planning to leave, to get away from him. Now we are all practically dancing in the street! The newly promoted manager should have been in the position all along. He cares about the tenants, keeps the park in good order, has professional communication skills and he's never raised his voice or sworn at the tenants (the bar was very low with the old manager). Us tenants keep walking around saying how happy we are! Original post Jan 2022 at 2 stars: The park is very nice and the neighbors too but the newest manager is really NOT nice! No management experience and it shows. Very confrontational when it’s definitely not needed; yelling and swearing at all the tenants. Lots of open spaces now. Used to have a waitlist.
