A nice neighborhood pond with fountains and nice trees and grassy slopes. There are some animals such as fish, turtles, ducks. Wheelchair accessible path circumscribing about a contiguous 60% of the pond -- the other 40% of the pond has no walking path and is not accessible by the public. On an April Sunday morning around 10am it was fairly empty, which can be a nice neighborhood spot if you want some tranquility, but a few visitors started showing up by 11am. The animals can be a draw for children. There's a huge fish that appears to be resting right next to the concrete wall in a seemingly shallow area with lots of vegetation and debris (not trash) and sticking its tail some 2 inches above water. At first it was so still for 2-3 minutes I had difficulty telling if it's a real fish or some kind of toy 🤣 once I realized it was a real fish I wondered if I was pregnant and trying to lay eggs in an area where the eggs would have more shelter and better chance of surviving 😄

It is actually a neighborhood pond rather than a lake. But it is very beautiful with many willows and trees with pink blossoms, a fountain, multiple viewing platforms, and many ducks. The trail is only on one side of the pond. Street parking only and no restroom on site.

Cute walk, but you can only walk on one side of the lake. An abundance of red-eared slider turtles with very little opportunities to get out of the water.

It’s a place nearby schools with very cute and active ducks inside the river. A nice place to chill with friends in the afternoon.
