Be warned, the north trail head is intense! I hiked on a weekday afternoon and quickly found myself off course. There's a cross-over trail that's easy to mistake, and I ended up following the river until I was 5 miles from my car – practically at the property line! The trails are really overgrown and poorly maintained, with broken-down boardwalks adding to the challenge. I actually had to hop the fence into a neighborhood and Uber back to my vehicle. If you hike here, pack extra water and food, and be prepared to rely heavily on GPS because the trail markings are scarce and the overgrowth is serious.

Great park! Camping sites mostly level. Sites are nicely secluded from neighbors. Quiet stay. Narrow road in the campground but our 33’ motor home fit and I saw larger rigs. Electric and water hookups were nice to have. Lots of great hiking trails although I didn’t have an opportunity to take advantage of that. Absolutely will stay again.

We really liked the park! We have it very close to our house and we didn't know! Everything is very green thanks to the rain, we believe that the signage needs a little maintenance and in some sectors the grass is very tall, we were able to see some animals, next time and with less heat, we will have a picnic!

Stayed for the weekend in the equine camping section. Stalls are nice, two wash racks, campsites are very close to the barn, water at the barn for easy bucket filling. A good amount of trails and some obstacles for your horses. The only thing I would recommend is maybe a face covering (nose and mouth) when it’s really dry as it is very dusty. I ended up inhaling a whole lot of sand/dust.

Loved this place. I came with my dog and my partner, it was our first time and there’s so much to explore. I was greeted by this beautiful tortoise and found an egg near to a creek. I loved the fact they have a canoe/kayak launch with a wheelchair access. Clean and well maintained park. The only thing I’d recommend is to improve with signs inside the trails, I end up in a dead end lol. Can wait to come back to explore more and have an equestrian ride.
