UPDATE: My first review (below) still stands. However, I'd like to take the time to provide props to the new management team Rebecca and Bob, who have been outstanding. Yes, we had some bad people in the park, but they are gone, Rebecca and Bob have zero tolerance for that sort of behavior. I'm talking same day service, without hesitation. This is a safe place, do not be concerned with older posts. The matter has been resolved. Rebecca and Bob live here too and are just as invested in the community as the rest of the residents. I must also mention the work ethic of these two. The park is lovely, but it is a bit older and with that comes unavoidable breakdowns. We had an electrical pedestal crash, leaving 2 streets without power, including mine. They worked day and night until 3am (on a birthday weekend) to get the residents power. It was a problem out of their hands but that didn't stop them from trying to find solutions. They are both morally and ethically outstanding people and I am glad they are here. Full time resident here. Fell in love with this park so much that we bought a second unit and moved Mom out from Texas. We are disappointed to hear that Colleen Lara (Resort Manager) is relocating to the east coast. If you look at the dates of the negative reviews 99% were regarding previous management. Since Colleen arrived, we saw immediate improvements. Colleen is exceedingly diligent and acutely aware of everything going on in the park, creating a safe place. All amenities are exceptionally well maintained, beautifully updated grill area, new umbrellas for the pool, consistent weekly lawn care and organized activities for the residents. There is a real sense of community where people look out for each other. We feel safe and enjoy living here, it was a huge lifestyle change for us that we don't regret one bit. We wish Colleen and her daughter a safe journey and prosperous new beginning. Thank you for all that you did.

Do not buy a mobile home here. Newby management does not care about the people that live here. My home floods every single rain storm because they refuse to put proper drainage in the park. They continue to raise our rent every year without fixing things that should be fixes. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Wow!! Great place to relax and enjoy!!! The office/property manager Colleen was great!! She from start to finish made sure my family and I were completely taken care of. Facilities, including shower, rooms were spotless!! Highly recommend this vacation spot. Take my word for it. You won’t be disappointed!!

We stayed in our camper for 2 months at this wonderful rv park. The clubroom and pool are excellent. The laundry facility was great compared to others where we've been. They had a wonderful play area fenced in for children. They were helpful when we needed our furnace repaired. I recommend this resort for your gulf coast stay.

To anyone who is thinking of spending time at the Clearwater Travel Resort Please rethink your vacation. This is not a place to stay. We have Newby Management Company that refuses to keep our park safe. We have a drug dealer in our park and we had to call Clearwater Police numerous times we live here in Clearwater Travel Resort as Annuals. This frightens us every day if you call the management department nobody will call you back. And they will not even work with the Clearwater Police Department. Not safe for kids or anyone. They give us rules to abide by but, they will not keep us safe. If you want a safe vacation, Clearwater Travel Resort is not the place to be . People who live here are stressed out every day because Management will not keep us safe. And just to put it out there, It is not the nice lady in the office, her hands are tied. And yet they tell us to have a Blessed Day. We are trying to.
