There is nothing here to visit except a handful of markers and a short trail. I did not feel safe visiting this location because it is practically in someone’s backyard. This park needs some love and care if it’s going to remain a state park.

Hopefully, they will continue to improve this spot. A bit of signage or even one sign directing you to a website with more info would be nice. Overall, the small park is as expected. I love the cannons they have set up, the small trail through and around the place and the picnic bench.

Very small but incredibly peaceful and beautiful. Plan to go here as well as the other 6 state parks near by for the full experince. This is a site during the civil war where we took in cargo from the river. There are signs posted for no digging and you can use a metal detector. You have to report anything you find but take tons of pics

Not really much to see other than 5 or six cannons as well as a small monument explaining the fort's origin Not much to see, however a nice place to visit, There are no bathrooms and it is not handicap friendly, you will need assistance from a family member or a friend to go up the 3 or 2 steps .

Nice place! Small, but nice for a picnic and short walk. Drove by it at first, the entrance is very small and almost unnoticeable. But it’s great here and worth a visit if you’re looking for something secluded and quiet.
