We had a great stay at Winter Island Park. It was super close to a lot of the tourist sites of Salem and had all the campground amenities you would expect. The beach looked nice and grounds were well maintained. Looking forward to staying here again sometime!

Lovely spot! Very peaceful and relaxing place. Gates get locked in the evening, so it felt very safe. Access to "Waikiki Beach" nearby. Staff were super nice and helpful. Lots of picnic tables available for use. Great for families. Taking off a star for one sink in the women's bathroom not working, and only one mirror available (above the non-working sink). Had to wait in line to use the sink/mirror on occasion. Other than that, our stay was quite pleasant!

This is the cleanest most well taken care of campground I have ever stayed at and I have stayed at a lot in about 30 states. There is a pool, the tent sites have very nice grass covering them. The grass is mowed, there’s flowers and tons of other little details. Really clean bathrooms and actual stand up showers like some people might put in their homes. It was also very quiet. There is a pond, and it is right across from lake Champlain. Beautiful area. They sell ice and a few other camping necessities at very reasonable prices. There is not much in the area and the places that are aren’t open everyday. If you’re looking for a clean place to relax or a place to sleep on your road trip, this is definitely it! An added bonus…the Aloha is real!

Winter Island is an amazing campground! There is a charming little beach and walking path to view the lighthouse. The bathhouse is very clean and the management is top-notch! I accidentally left my small suitcase behind, and they mailed it to me living states away. I highly suggest camping here in Salem 😁

It's a great place to camp. It is located right on Salem Harbor. The park staff are wonderful & friendly. The public bathrooms and showers are kept very clean & have plenty of hot water.
