Beautiful campground with awesome views of the mighty Columbia River and the surrounding hills. Good sites, all mostly level, but a few leveling blocks might be needed. Would give this place 5 stars except for the fierce winds the afternoon that we arrived. Didn't even put our slides out because we didn't want to damage the toppers. The next day was gorgeous, with mild wind.

Great spot to hang out for the day if you are camping at the gorge amphitheater and waiting for the show to start. There is a chevron close by to grab essentials. Quiet grassy area on the river loaded with trees and a dedicated swim spot.

Such an easy location to get to from central Washington, big sites that are level and have full hookup. Well maintained boat launch and lots of space for day picnic if you don’t have an RV or tent. If you need to bring a tent for friends - no problem. Plenty of room in most sites. If you want a water front site, look for sites 11-22, with site 21 being the best in my opinion. Perfect for that weekend getaway. The only downside is to be aware that there aren’t many options if you leave something at home. One gas station is all you get and no, they don’t sell or refill propane.
