We rented a boat and had a wonderful time with the leadership team at the campsite. We enjoyed grilling meat, and the place was so pleasant with a shallow area where the kids could swim. It was an incredibly comfortable and enjoyable location!

This park has been closed and neglected for 4 years. Now there's a sign that says No Entry. There are two families living on the property that have been here for 6 months. No one else. What a waste a beautiful resources.. I've been coming here to walk by the water since 1993. Great job USACE

Great spot for a long weekend getaway. Camp host were phenomenal and very accommodating. We fished all weekend and were able to leave the boats in the water and pull them up right in front of camp. The islands in front of the campground do attract a lot of boats pulling up on the beaches and shallow sand bars hanging out for the day, but was not too bad the weekend we were there. Be sure to read all of the restrictions, the host do a good job of monitoring that as well.

This campground is well maintained. Every site is clean and has private access to the lake. Note that it's a day use area and closes at 8 pm. Entry is till 7 and exit till 8. Very good to visit in summer. If you want to extend more, go to North campground which is first come first serve basis, but the restrooms there are not clean. South campground has cleaner restrooms. It's worth the price. Just $15 per campsite and upto 3 vehicles can be accommodated.

Campground is very nice and well run, bathrooms are decent. We had site 46 which has nice waterfront view and is good for swimming. Campsite pad are very small and close to each other.Great access to water for any water sport. We will definitely be back.
