There’s so many hiking opportunities you can’t go wrong at Mountain Park! Gates Pass trails are some of my favorites I’ve climbed all the ridges and peaks! Had some spicy climbs where I really should’ve had ropes and gloves and a spotter lol but I’m a very avid hiker and after climbing Humphreys in Flag I’m not scared easily. I just can’t believe some of the footwear I’ve seen people hiking with 😂 including slides I mean are you looking to meet God faster😂😂😂😂 If you’re going to hike, please consider hiking shoes that have treads and keep your ankle stable or keep fckn around so you can find out 👉🤣☠️👈

Nice trails. No information on what the Tucson Mountains are. Hiking in a large volcanic complex is different than the Catalina Mtns.

The Tucson Mountain Park is fantastic and the Gilbert Ray Campground is our favorite in the Tucson area. The sites are large and spaced fairly well apart. The hosts are very pleasant and keep everything in the campground clean and neat. In addition, there is a seemingly endless number of trails for hiking and biking.
