I spent 4 glorious nights tent camping at this campground. It was one of the most peaceful, quiet parks I've ever camped at. The sites were spacious and level. I had an electric site (13), which adequately served my purpose. I will definitely camp here again.

Nice views at the lake.Parking was available and ample for the area. Picnic tables and barbecue grills we're available by the lake. canoe rentals You should check the website for times and availability. Fishing is also allowed at the lake, and there are areas for hunting also in season. There is a playground and bathrooms near the lake. The bathrooms may be seasonal, though.

Great area to explore. Lot was an adequate size; had one near the bathroom/showers. Cleaner than expected and well kept.

We stayed in a cabin for a weekend. There were stink bugs getting in through the door. There wasn't much of a seal around it. The showers were alright except for the mat on the floor. It hurt my feet as I forgot my flip-flops. I think one of the toilets was leaking because the bathroom floor was always wet. At first, I thought it was from people tracking in rain water, but the rest of the weekend was dry, but the floor was still wet. The area is gorgeous! The trees were changing colors. It was relatively quiet. There were kids running around, including my own. It was just what I needed. We even went to the aviary at the suggestion of the lady in the tiny camp store. I love owls, and there were three. Maybe in the spring we'll come back for the gardens.
