Beautiful park for walking, picnics and workouts. Be aware of alligators. (Well. Is florida we always are) Is very pretty and awesome views. It has a field for volleyball and a basketball court. Is nice to run 🏃 here a lot of people do.

I absolutely adore this place; simply being here feels wonderful. The amenities are diverse and plentiful, catering to various interests and preferences. There are facilities for tennis, baseball, basketball, boxing, water sports, soccer, batting cages, and two playgrounds. Additionally, there's a nature preserve, a hill, and two lakes to explore and enjoy. On weekends, bike rentals are available, and Fridays bring the excitement of food trucks and bounce houses. For larger gatherings, there are shelters equipped with grills, while the entire park boasts picnic tables and small grills for more intimate gatherings. Bathroom facilities are conveniently located throughout the park for visitors' comfort. Furthermore, there are two designated dog parks—one for small dogs and another for big dogs—along with a Bark Park situated by the lake, providing a scenic spot for leisurely walks with furry companions. Additionally, the park offers equestrian facilities and much more, ensuring there's something for everyone to enjoy. They have memorial for those who served. It is closed for the most part. It is what looks like a peninsula. At the foot of the entrance is the little stadium. If you have time see the horse stables.

This park is great for sports, leagues, they have a new track to run on, perfect place for picnics, and shelters for parties. It’s right off the palmetto and free to go in. There’s plenty of parking too!

On Fridays they have food trucks. And for only $13 the kids can enjoy around 6 giant bouncing houses. My friends, our kids and I always have a great time!

Earlier today, we went to Tropical Park to attend the 2nd annual Miami Dade Country Fest with a couple of friends. It was a nice sunny day but a bit hot. There was a good-sized crowd of families there. This is not a huge fair, but it is adequate in size. There are signs to the parking area as you turn into the park. Once you have parked, a bus will take you to the Fest. It was a bit of a wait, though. There were fun things to do similar to a county fair. There are also many photo opportunities, which were fun! There's a rodeo in the afternoon ($75), pony rides for kids at Farmville, games and fun rides, award winning cattle and horses to look at, and small business food booths and food trucks as well as small vendors. There's something for everyone. We enjoyed ourselves.
