We did the 4 mile discovery trail. Took 3 hours. There was a bridge out on the purple trail but we were able to cross it anyway. The trails are a bit overgrown with stinging nettles (i.e. razor plants) lining parts of it. Wear thick pants and lots of bug spray as there were mosquitos & ticks. The welcome center staff was a sweetheart.

Great little oasis in the 〽️ I’m from Memphis and I’m a full time RVer. I can’t believe I’ve never parked up here before what a beautiful park. And has 80’ spots so even us big guys fit unlike most state parks

Clean. Super nice people! The lady didn't mind helping us check in even though it was closing time (I didn't even realize!). The next day when we saw her, she was extremely friendly as she joined one of the Rangers share the area history, wildlife around there and gave us great suggestions on good attractions to visit! Really enjoyed the Ranger!

Good stuff- pretty good location for travelers - not too far off the highway. Good location if you are visiting the area for a day or two. Ranger is very close to campsites and makes the rounds often. Lots of trees and very little noise. Dump station has nice big pull through and well kept. Reasonable camp fees for a state park. Bad stuff- portable showers and portapotty. Bathhouse is closed and there are little trees growing from the gutters. Our water spigot handle was missing.... challenging to turn water on and off. Grass was high and lots of low tree limbs- hazard for tall RVs.

We camped for 4 days at Fuller in November in order to visit Memphis. The lovely little campground is great for that. Nicely forested, well maintained, regularly patrolled by park rangers, spacious lots, water and electricity at every site. Special mention of the renovated bathroom. Only drawback is the permanent rumble of freight trains, air planes and road traffic. But for that you are at 20 minutes from the center of Memphis. We walked the Discovery Trail to the Chucalissa Indian village and associated museum: delightful. The trail is a bit overgrown but still easy to spot and easy to walk.
