Cabin stay A40. Last week of September, 2024. Fantastic stay, quiet campgrounds, great security given the area. Plenty of activities. Mini golf, board games checkout, small library, pool, pool table, crafts for kids. Great little general store with a fabulous ice cream selection! Laundry facility. I will add the pictures of what to expect and plan for a cabin stay in the photos. So many positives for this place! 💯✅ Saying this with good intention- The only con that was noticeable isn’t a business problem. My opinion is it’s the responsibility of dog owners…some, not all, who bypass bringing poop bags with them on walks. We brought a trash bag and picked up some trash that people have left as well along our walks. I encourage everyone who visits- extend a volunteer hand and do a little to help out. ✅. Wouldn’t take much effort to preserve such a nice remote area for everyone to enjoy! ❤️👏 Had a lot of fun during our stay and can’t wait to come back someday!

The campground itself is not so bad, the pool area isn’t too big but nice. What ruined it for me was a very rude ranger who gave attitude and was rude to my younger sister. She then tried to intimidate my younger sister and myself by using the title as ranger and stood in front of our car door window. I didn’t catch her name but as a ranger it made the experience terrible, since rangers are supposed to help you feel safe. I also didn’t like the fact that there was no where online where I could report the incident either. I will not be coming back and will not recommend.

New upgrade Thousand trail member here🙋🏻♀️ We had the best experience at Pio pico from the second we got there and met Laura at check in. Laura was very informative, friendly and kind. Giving us a rundown of the site making our stay more enjoyable. Heading into the office we met Lisa H. she was such a joy to speak to and very helpful when we made an error with our reservations. Thank you Lady’s 💓

I had to cancel my membership because this property is poorly managed and kept up to date, this use to be a great place to go but now that thousand trails doesn't know how to maintain it. We had 3 good years of membership and now, you can't make a reservation online. You call and thousand trails blaims the property for its poor conditions, the lack of security and illegal activity on the property. Asked for a refund on my membership since i couldn't use it and well, they denied it as they claim its a 1st come 1st serve, so every week and every month is full over and over with no reservations? I don't believe it and i don't reccommend using thousand trails its a scam.

The camp ground used to be real clean and the area was green. Unfortunately, there are weeds and dead grass all over. However, the cabins are nice and clean. I wish management would come up with a strategy to clean up the grounds.
