MC TOMOUNT Canvas Tent Bell Tent 16.4ft*High9.2ft with Stove Jack for Glamping Family Camping Zipped Removable Floor
MC TOMOUNT Canvas Tent Bell Tent 16.4ft*High9.2ft with Stove Jack for Glamping Family Camping Zipped Removable Floor

【Spacious Large capacity】 The diameter of the bell tent is 16.4feet and the top height is about 9.18feet. The side walls (supported by 8 poles) are 55inch high, which is much higher than the walls of the ordinary bell tent (22.8inch). So there will be more space available for this tent. It is suitable for people who want to place a lot of equipment, such as tent stove, chairs, tables and beds. It is ideal for music festivals, backyard parties, family camping, weekend breaks and festivals.. * 【Material】Tent roof is made of TC cotton canvas (65% polyester 35% cotton), which is very breathable and can reduce condensation. The fabric itself has good water-resistant performance and can withstand light to medium rain, but for better smelling and breathability, it doesn’t have PU coating, so it cannot be called waterproof, please don’t stay in the rain overnight. The tent walls are made of 210D Oxford cloth, detachable tent floor 600D oxford cloth, PU3000mm keeps you dry and comfortable.. 【How to Set up】】The eight corners of the tent can be set up by adjustable straps, pegs and side poles. It has eight doors and all have mesh windows, so it is very easy to get in and out. All seams are double stitched and all four corners are reinforced. The small straps above the windows are used to roll up the entire sidewalls (after unzipping the zipper at the bottom of the tent) so that you can turn the tent into a canopy look (as shown in the picture of the 2 ways to build).

About This Campsite

Tall Chief RV Campground

Welcome to Tall Chief RV Campground, an expansive site nestled within a reasonable distance of Seattle, offering a peaceful retreat surrounded by lovely trees and spacious plots. This campground is ideal for RV travelers looking to explore the vibrant city while enjoying a serene atmosphere.

Location and Accessibility

Though the specific address and city title are not provided, the campground is mentioned to be a convenient 45-minute drive from Seattle. It's a great base for those wanting to explore the city and its surrounding suburbs while escaping the urban hustle.

Facilities

  • Electricity and water hookups available at sites.
  • Shared bathroom and shower facilities, often praised for cleanliness despite occasional humidity issues.
  • Central dump station, which can get busy and produce some unpleasant odors.
  • Recreational amenities, including a pool (although the mini-golf course might not be in the best shape currently).

Important Considerations

  • The campground has a self-service site selection policy, so plan to arrive early for better choices.
  • The RV sites are limited to 30-amp electricity, with some visitors experiencing issues with breakers tripping.
  • The campground does not cater to custom-built RVs without a specific certification, so ensure your vehicle meets their requirements.
  • The dump station might be a tight fit for larger RVs.

Overall Thoughts

Tall Chief RV Campground offers a solid option for RV travelers exploring the Seattle area, with spacious sites and a generally peaceful atmosphere. While the sewer system could use improvement and site selection could be more organized, it serves as a safe place to park your RV. It's best suited for short stays, providing a quiet respite after city excursions.

The bathroom and shower were clean. The laundry was clean, but we didn't need to use it. When showering, the room tends to hold the steam, some people propped the main door open. Showers are two per men -woman. One curtain only and your clothes hung outside the curtain in the main bathroom. We showered early and had the room to ourselves. Sites are fine. We had 87. We had electricity and water. There is a dump station for everyone. It has a terrible odor. There is an alarm going off. I think the septic tanks need to be drained. The smell is really bad. Luckily we spent more time touring than in the campground. It is a nice campground other than the sewer smell, but it's also impersonal. You drive around to look for an open spot on your own. I prefer to pick my spot at booking or at least get directed to an available site. I'm not thrilled to drive a camper around to find something on my own. We just didn't have a welcoming feeling here. It's great for an overnight. I was ready to move on to the next campground. I just didn't have that "I don't want to leave feeling here". We toured what we came to see, ready to roll

Decent campground 45 min outside of Seattle. It’s a nice place if you want to explore the city and surrounding suburbs. The showers were mostly clean, the pool was nice and the staff was helpful. The place is massive and it looks like they used to have sewers but now only a dump station that creates a terrible odor at one section of the park and has the alarm going off on it 24/7. The mini golf is basically unusable bc it’s so overgrown and there isn’t anything else to do there-but it’s a safe place to keep your RV while you explore.

Discrimination and rude! What I thought was going to be a peaceful weekend in the woods turned out to be a nightmare. The RV park is run by a greedy corporation that doesn't understand custom built. Our rig is a custom-built car hauler, and because it was not factory built, they turned us away at the gate. Even though we had a reservation for the last 7 months and had stayed with them 2 months prior. Tried to compromise with the manager in letting us stay one night so that we could at least find a new place to stay for the other 4 days. He would not budge. Come to find out, the park had a meeting about us after our first stay and told the employees to be on the lookout for us the next time we come. Guess one phone call 6 weeks ago was too hard for them. Now we are homeless for the biggest race of the year. Sad that this discrimination is allowed anywhere!

Peaceful location with lovely trees and room between sites. Price is reasonable, especially with the PA discount. Within a reasonable distance to Seattle without being in the city. Sites are only 30 amp and my particular site had a bad post--the breaker would trip even if I ran one single 12.5 amp appliance. There is no sewer at the site and the central dump station is really tight to navigate.

Turned our 6 month reservation away for not having an rvia cert. We have a clean and special built race car hauler/camper. Requirement on website and terms wasn't clear at the time the reservation was made. We have stayed here in the past without issue. Now forced to find an alternate the day of a large event in the area. Campground refuses to make any exceptions. We were told they went as far as to have a meeting about us last time we stayed and didn't bother to mention it to us. Thanks. *update* They've also called us two days in a row now, to ask why we haven't checked in. Work on your communication
