Absolutely stunning park. You'll get the pretty views from Red Trail. Red Trail gets difficult as it reaches the meeting point with white trail. It can still be done with kids that like to climb just a little slower. Not dangerous at all. If you plan to use white trail I recommend loading All Trails onto your phone. There are a lot of branch offs that are not marked on the park map. As a result at one point I thought I was turning on brown trail but it was just an unmarked maintenance trail. It took me off course from white but once I met up with green trail and opened my All Trails map I got back on track and realized just how many unmarked trails there are! Cell service is poor and it took a while to load, so load it before starting. Still a fun experience as I'm mildly adventurous and this wasn't a dangerous situation. I will for sure be going back again with my family to try other trails. The map says there's a bathroom where red and white meet. Either I didn't see it or it's not there. No other bathrooms on the trails. Not a big deal but there were a lot of people so going off trails would probably make me nervous. The longest trail is 5 miles but take into consideration that 5 miles may take 1-2 hours depending on your speed, ability, and how much you stop to take in the beauty.

This is a beautiful area to fish, kayak, or picnic. No swimming is aloud, but paddle boards are welcomed. The bathrooms are clean. Everyone in the bait shop was very nice. You can rent kayaks & such Friday-Sunday. They, of course, have bait at the bait shop. There are trails if you enjoy hiking. The old cotton mill ruins are historic. There are tent camp spots and yurts to rent. Many movies have been filmed here, so this truly helps with the park funds. It is a state park, so things need to be addressed & updated. If the State Parks had more funding. Please become a donor so we can keep our rich history of amazing US Parks.

Our group of 40 had an amazing time. We booked a pavilion and it worked out awesome. The pavilion comes with 6_8 parking spaces and electrical points. Easy access to multiple trails, restroom and river side. Every pavilion is different and recommended you explore all areas in all of your visits. Electrical points worked out perfect for plugging portable fans to beat the summer. The trails are beautiful and a must in your planning. The activities are listed in the visitor center and could be added to the agenda. We realized it later. But humans of all ages had something or other to enjoy. The scenic paths alongside the river view are breathtaking. Definitely can spend more than one night at this mind-blowing natural find. Thanks to my sister for this rare find . Sunday well spent.

It was great experience. White trail is relatively easier and red trail is definitely harder. Parking fee is 5 dollars and they don’t take credit card so I recommend to have a cash in advance. Otherwise you can pay through app but it may take a long depending on your cellphone service.

Parking is only 5.00 for the day. Absolutely beautiful hike to an even more magical river area where we floated in little pools of waterfalls all day. Even though there were lots of people, you feel like you are all alone because of how the rocks separate you. This place is truly a spectacular destination!!
