About This Campsite
Sunshine Holiday Mhcc RV And Camping Resort
Welcome to the Sunshine Holiday Mhcc RV and Camping Resort, a place where campers can find solace, albeit with some noted challenges. Located conveniently for those traveling in smaller RVs or trailers, this site offers essential hookup services amidst a classic park setting reminiscent of the past decades. It's a campground that carries a legacy of the 1960s, offering an affordable stay for travelers who have minimal setup requirements.
Important Considerations:
- Space Constraints: The RV spots are notably narrow, at just 8 feet wide. This can be challenging if your RV or trailer has slides, as it may overlap with neighboring sites. Bringing a smaller 17-foot trailer may provide a better experience.
- Hookup Arrangements: Travelers have mentioned that connections like electrical, water, and sewer are not ideally placed, sometimes requiring additional cables and hoses.
- Facilities and Cleanliness: There have been observations about slower garbage collection, potentially leading to an untidy environment if not addressed frequently.
- Community Atmosphere: Some guests report a lack of community spirit, with local residents at times dominating amenities like the pool, leading to an unfriendly welcome.
- Customer Service: There are mixed reviews about the attentiveness and helpfulness of the staff, with some encountering challenges during check-in and booking adjustments.
Overall Thoughts:
While the Sunshine Holiday Mhcc RV and Camping Resort may appeal to those looking for a nostalgic experience or a quick stay with a compact setup, the park could benefit significantly from modern updates, both in terms of facilities and customer service. Prospective visitors should assess their setup requirements closely before booking, and possibly explore other options if space and service are a priority.

Rv spots are 8’ wide. Literally not enough width for slides without overlapping with your neighbor. Very old park that has never been refitted for infrastructure or design since inception which was probably in the 60s. If you have a 17’ trailer with no slides and need a quick spot it’s fine. Do NOT bring a large class A in here.

Do NOT RECOMMEND. awful from beginning to end. Lots are too close together, hookups are on the WRONG side. Took 2 electric cords, 2 water hoses and 2 sewer hoses. The man that led us to our site was rude. There was a car parked on our site. Had to wait for people to locate their keys .I finally asked to be put on another lot that was large and empty. Seemed to offend the man that I would ask. There were multiple empty lots so WHY try to pack us in. The only positive was the young girl that checked me in. Marked in my book NEVER AGAIN.

The local people who live here think they own the park. Why would you want to vacation here when the locals in the pool listen to music over a loud speaker that's not appropriate for kids. You can't enjoy the pool when they are blasting music with terrible words that shouldnt even be spoken. It's not even they were playing music I didn't like that would have been tolerable to what they were listening to. WE WONT BE BACK. It's very run down didn't feel welcome. The spots aren't marked that great for late check in.no real assistance for late checking, your stuff is in a box and the security that drives around dont really know anything they just drive around for safety, like a third party company. This park is more run down and isnt easy to get into its more foe for people living in trailers full time.

Absolutely awful, pictures are not what you see in person, I work from out of town so I called this place and made a month reservation one month and pre payed for it then made my 16 hour drive, when I got there it was totally not what was described to me! They wouldn’t give me a refund I have made several attempts to get my money back and the woman at the front desk told me you just out of luck, it’s highway robbery and it’s absolutely disturbing that they do this to people

This RV park is extremely close and tight fitted. They left no extra room. They say they pick up the garbage every morning but they didn’t for my side the garbage piled up until I left. I hope I never have to stay here again. I was part of the organization, the worst trails site I’ve ever stayed at.
