I've been coming here all my life since I can remember.. good times and friendly people:) lots of paved trails to walk, hike, bike, bring your dog as well! Just be cautious about hot pavement in the summer please. Public restrooms and trash cans are available along the trails and benches and tables along the American river. You also have trails that aren't paved to explore. Its pretty big and long following the American river so make sure to be prepared for anything like rattlesnakes in the summer and wildlife. PLEASE be careful around or swimming at the American river. Even experienced swimmers. The water is very cold and fast moving. Love this place I highly recommend it.

Great spot to access the American River trail. We had our road bikes with us and it was a great trail to ride with some great views of the sunset.

Always a great time. Good place to start your river float. Make sure to leave a car at the end somewhere or you can rent an inflatable boat from the company near here and they will drive you back. I find that a little expensive so rather just use my own boat and deal with the transportation with friends.

Now that I have a Kayak, being in the on the river is much more enjoyable 😉 It's actually quite addicting. Soon I'll have my paddle board as well to further enjoy and explore the outdoors ✨️

Great place to walk with your family, a lot of things to do here. The view is really great to take pictures. You can swim in the Rivers during the summer. Bottom line Its a great place to enjoy with you're family. It does it cost 5$ to park but it is worth it.
