Stayed in a nice RV site close to the pool which was nice for summer! Beautiful pool and grounds. Great for kids also. Sites for RV are nice and large. For cement pads, could've been a little more level. Has a nice arcade and longe too. Staff is very friendly and helpful! Will definitely come here again. The surrounding area isn't the nicest, east of the freeway. But stay in the park and visit the Living Coast Discovery Center is fun to visit also.

This was our 4th summer at Sun Outdoors, it’s a great spot for families with nice amenities. The vibe overall is fun/active/loud, it’s not meant to be a quiet/mediative type of environment. The pool area is great and I like that they have the bar and cafe available. I do feel like the quality of the activities/entertainment has declined. Previously they had many more activities throughout the day, things like wine tastings, live concerts/bands by the pool, foam party, face painting/body art for kids, movies in the park, etc. Now it’s basically bingo on repeat and instead of live upbeat band and evening DJ people can dance to, it’s a guy singing on a truck bed and silent dance party. The cottages are cute and decent for the price. They are generally pretty clean except for the floors. We are used to not wearing shoes in the house but our feet are completely dirty within seconds. This year there was an insane amount of electric bikes. I get it’s the trend but they should not be allowed on the pathway between the cottages. Kids are zooming by and it’s extremely dangerous. Overall it’s a great vacation spot and feels safe.

1) no enforced quiet hours - had to listen to somebody blasting music from when we arrived (5pm) till midnight. 2) 1000000 children running around, including through my $200 site, bikes flying through, balls bouncing off my rig. I get we’re all here for vacation. And I love for children to have a good time. But when it stops me from being able to move and enjoy my own space…it’s not for me 3) no care in the world about traffic or having to navigate a 45 foot rig. I have to presume that that’s the folks staying in the cabins. Maybe they don’t know that when you walk in front of a big rig you create a big problem and take your own life at risk. It was appalling the lack of courtesy. This is a reflection of the place, as nobody enforces the movement around the facility and there isn’t much of the sense of joint fun and courtesy we experience at most rv campgrounds. 4) absolutely perfect site. Meticulously maintained. Lovely grounds. Top notch all the way.

No propane in our fire pit which was disappointing but they fixed it last night. They are also doing constructure behind our site so it loud at 6am..... love the pool, front desk people are great, and the guys that help around the property are really nice too! All around great little vacation spot!

This place is expensive but great. You know the saying, "You get what you pay for"? This is an example of that phrase. There are plenty of staff to make sure the guests are taken care of; even on the busy Labor Day weekend. The bar and Cafe at the pool were great and the staff was prompt. There were enough activities to do that if the kids ever said they were bored, you have permission to get mad. There was the pool, splash pad, corn hole, bocce ball, pickleball, basketball and more. I totally understand if the fees are too much to handle, because they are more than the average place, but if you could swing it, you probably wouldn't be disappointed.
