Sunset views are insane. Facilities are great. I come from Boston and DC area where wilderness is a big thing. This site may not be in the woods, but it's now my #2 campsite for where I'd bring big groups. It's stunning here, the tent sites have so much space, the sunsets are invariably shocking. "You're just showing off now" was the response when I sent photos to friends. Yes, it gets crowded, but each tent site it huge and off people aren't actively at your table it's not a problem. The bathrooms are clean, the Porto potties are clean, the staff is super nice. This was a shockingly nice place to camp and I'd recommend it over many hotels if you have a tent. It's stunning.

One of the best locations in the Dallas area. Very scenic, beautiful and clean. The only negative is that there is an entry fee but probably that's why it has been well maintained. I would suggest to visit on a weekday as there is less crowd.

A perfect place to watch the sunset of any fine day. This place is beautiful with barbecue sets and multiple roof covered seating areas. The entry charge for a car is 10$ and the park closes at 7:30 PM in winters. There is a small bridge where one can walk comfortably. This is one of the less known places in Dallas and definitely a must visit.
