Love that they had biking and hiking trails. BBQ grills for picnic. Shaded areas to relax. Nice view of the lake.

2nd year going to Story Book Forrest, a perfect little outing for the little ones, friendly staff, good amount of candy for them to collect, a hay ride, some games and fire with s'mores and hot chocolate.

Very good camp grounds. Large fire rings. Toilets are a bit spartan, but if it keeps costs down or is worth it. Good concrete tables. Test drive mild roughing it with amenities not too far away if you forget something or decide it's not for you.

We stopped here to take pictures in the snow! It'd been raining and no one was at the entrance to make change. Payment was expected with the honor system, which was fine, but the envelopes were all wet! We had to make our own so the money wouldn't get wet. Beautiful location.
