Spectacle Island is a beautiful island right off the coast of Boston. I took the ferry from Long Wharf. The ride is about thirty minutes. You also get stunning views of the Boston skyline and the entire harbor area. Once at the island, there is a small visitor center with some cool exhibits. Most of the island consists of hiking trails. The view at the top of the island is stunning. You get a view of Greater Boston as well as the other harbor Islands. The trails were well kept and scenic. There is not much else going on within the island but if you love nature, ocean views and want to get away from the city for a couple hours, Spectacle Island is worth visiting.

Just okay. There are island ranger available to give group tour with a little bit of history. Interesting piece- whatever you pick up on the island needs to remain on the island. Had to donate my sea shells to the visitors center 😃

Great park. Ranger Thomas led a wonderful program, he is 100000% the best ranger ever and a great storyteller!! Limited amenities, so be prepared before you go (bring a water bottle)

A great Boston harbor island, one of my favorites. during the summer you can enjoy free jazz on Sundays. Enjoy all the vitamin D you can take!🌞

Very cool place to hand out with the family. They have a small concession stand with hotdogs and drinks, they have public restrooms, changing rooms, water fountains, and tables to get out from the heat. And of course amazing views of the city and harbor.
