Our first time staying at this KOA. Priced very high in comparison to the county campgrounds in the area. We chose this location specifically for the "Resort pool" which is a huge bonus compared to most campgrounds. We showed up and the pool was down for maintenance, and would be for all 4 days of our trip. We got no prior notification. We drove 4 hours from the desert to stay here. I asked if they were offering discounts since part of their resort amenities were down. The response was no, not at this time. A supervisor wasn't available to speak to. I asked them to pass along that a discount would be appropriate since not all of their advertised amenities were open, and we hadn't been given any prior notification. I may have rescheduled given to option. I have yet to hear back from them. This was during June so there had been a price increase for Summer and weekends already. I think a discount is appropriate. I would love to revisit and have the opportunity to enjoy the resort style pool we paid to enjoy. Other than that the campground was good. Close to main attractions. City noise was a bit much at night. I think they may be close to a hospital because many helicopters circled at night, but hey- this is a city. Bike rentals were pricier than expected, but it was a fun perk. They could have advertised the free events they offered a little better. We missed the live music. No free Sunday pancake breakfast like we've had at another KOA. I had thought that was a universal perk. Hope to return someday and get the most out of our stay.

Been coming here with my family for quite some time, lots of Kid activities and the campground is very well kept, super clean. Only one complaint, lately I’ve noticed alot more Pet fights. I never witnessed this before but this last stay I witnessed several Dog fights and aggressive dogs. I’m a dog lover but people please keep your Pets on a Leash!

This place is one of our favorite KOAs. In fact we come here almost every year during the summer and stay for about 3 weeks. We stay in our camper, and most of the time depending on your site they are nice, most of them have grass and trees, some of them are very close to other campers, and others have more space. Some of our family came and stayed in a deluxe cabin. It was fairly clean but the beds were not very soft. The public bathrooms for the tent sites and other cabins are mostly clean and are well kept and cleaned often. Most of the staff are very nice, some of them on the other hand aren’t. They also rarely tell people to follow the rules like the after 10 quiet time which we have had multiple issues with loud music and loud TVs next to us while trying to sleep. As well as the speed limit for bikes which people have gone extremely fast on their E Bikes and there are many little kids running around sometimes without parents and he could have killed them at the speeds he was going. Most of the time this KOA is super nice with a few flaws. I would totally recommend it. The gate is locked at night to the point you need a code to open and close for both people and cars to enter. There are a few homeless camps right outside the KOA but it is fully fenced in and we have never had any issues with safety. There are TONS of dogs and some of them people never tell to stop barking and others people keep off leash or on long leashes that can reach into the road, another thing the KOA people don’t care about those rules being broken. Overall I think the place is well kept, from the dog park, to trash, to plants, bathrooms, etc. all good. Mainly the people staying here do the wrong which the employees could help with. I would recommend this place for all kinds of people. They have things for everyone, daily activities, pools, basketball courts, Gaga ball, movies, and more.
