I absolutely love coming out here. This is my favorite spot to take pictures of my clients. I have been coming here for a few years now. Bud is an awesome guy and very informational. Cannot wait to come out here and go camping soon to watch the stars with my kids! This place is very well kept. Not even a cigarette, can be found on the ground. Absolutely phenomenal!

The park is in private hands, no longer a state park. The Rv sites are set up well, though the drive in and out is very steep. It is a pretty park but it’s a long way for a restaurant or other amenities. The pool is nice but was packed with kids and it is an additional $8.00 per person to use it on top of fairly expensive camping fees. We paid for it coming in and didn’t use it after we saw how busy it was.

So much positive change since I'd been last. 4 stars since I've never seen a perfect park in my life. With that being said, either the neighbors to the North of the Canyon or a house behind the entrance gait played music all day long and I don't think they realize it bounces off the canyon walls and you can hear it everywhere on the property. South end trails, N.E. trail, overland route, everywhere. People come to hear silence or birds, bugs, frogs etc. The campgrounds, bathrooms, trails, ALL were clean and taken care of. The staff was super helpful with the check in and maps. Camp neighbors were pleasant and the overall atmosphere was very peaceful. I'll be back for sure.

Red Rock Canyon is one of those hidden gems that you don't really know about unless someone tells you or you just so happen to drive by once you take exit 101 off from I-40. I repelled there over two decades ago when I lived in that part of OK, had a great time! Now that I'm older I don't so much do the repelling but I definitely drive through and enjoy the scenery. Definitely looking forward to the pool being revamped and reopened, my kids and I will be there as soon as it is!

Red Rock canyon is my favorite campsite because you get to camp down in the canyon and most of the plots have grass to set down on and that seems to be at a premium at most campgrounds in Oklahoma. It doesn't look great right now because they are doing a lot of construction right now. I'm not sure why because it used to be very nice and serene with lots of grass but there are large areas of bulldozed trees brush and grass right now so it was a bit of a let down today.
