My family and I stayed in the barebones cabin for two days. It is such a nice place. The bathrooms are the nicest campground restrooms I've ever seen. The employees here are so friendly and helpful. The playground equipment was everywhere, well maintained and very much appreciated by our child. We were a little too early for the Halloween path, but got to see a preview of how they go all out!! Would be cool to actually see it when it's ready. We really hope to have another opportunity to stay here and even a longer stay next time.

I have read a lot of the older reviews, and if you have as well hope you read this one to the end. I was there as a extended stay for almost 3 months, would have been longer, and my family and I all wish it could have been longer. Apparently in the last 3 years there has been a change of managers, and Mr. Dan is awesome, we had issues with a campsite we were on and Mr. Dan moved us as soon as he could. The staff that work there were all very friendly and helpful. My son had his best 13 year old summer there, playing in the pool, playing with other kids, for him it was awesome. There was nothing we didn't like. Summer months they have bands that come in and play Saturday nights, Family movie nights on Friday with free popcorn. They have ice cream and shaved ice on the weekends, a cafe with good pizza there. Only thing i would possibly complain about would be the fact that you have to pay for the foods right then and not charged to campsite, which I don't mind anyway because I think it could get too confusing, to do that with a campground that size. Mr. Dan is always trying to upgrade the campground. All in all I would say it is very nice. Off the main road, mostly wooded, most sites are under old growth oak trees, and pine trees, lots of wildlife (squirrels ), quiet. But I can not impress on you the amount of friendliness of the staff there and how well they treated us. If we ever go back to Maryland, we will be going back to Ramblin' Pines. LOVE THIS PLACE

Very nicely maintained RV park with trees throughout. Sites are gravel and level. They have plenty of activities for kids and the family as well as a dock and catch and release fishing pond. They have soft serve and packaged ice cream in their well stocked camp store. Everyone was friendly and nice and they are upgrading and adding new playground equipment. I slept very well at night as it was super quiet and my dog enjoyed their two dog parks. The only negative I found was the five mile an hour speed limit was not enforced and it seemed that most of those speeding were long-term campers from the back of the RV park.

This is an amazing campground! The staff are very friendly, the amenities are new and clean, and the pads were level! The bonus was getting to attend Church Sunday morning at the campsite! A+ experience all around. We even booked 2 more trips while we were there!

Family of 4 (kids: 3 and 7), 3 night RV campsite (thurs-sun): TLDR: We all enjoyed the stay: Grounds are clean and beautifully kept. Just enough entertainment to keep us busy for the 3 very hot days. Staff was sweet and friendly. Site/cabin pricing is perfect for what you get, the same goes for pricing within the campground (food, ice cream, arcade, etc... all fair priced). Nothing mind blowing but I don't think any of us had a single real complaint. We will likely be heading back every year going forward! + I can really appreciate the booking pricing doesn't change (same price all season). Also one of the cheapest campgrounds around for both camp sites and cabins. And the value is there, it's a nice campground, not just cheap! + Beautiful grounds, lovely plants and flowers, gardens, pond, well kept playgrounds, activity and common areas. + Food, ice cream and snowballs were above average IMO. + Pool, arcade, activities, playgrounds and events were all just enough to make the trip a pleasant experience. - Gated entry is a bit of a pain and seems an unnecessary burden (why?!?!) on everyone including the staff, but whatever.... we only left once to get some groceries. - Our site on the front strip (TR-Terrace Road) wasn't the levelest and a little tight width-wise but plenty of room up front to back the RV in. The sites deeper in the wooded area seemed spacious, but the overall geography of the campground is hilly so be prepared if you might have to stack up some leveling!
