Seems like a nice nature preserve. There were lots of people fishing. It says there's hiking, but I couldn't find any trails.

I took my boys canoeing here. The lake is nice, and it's surrounded by park space. There were quite a few people fishing, which is relaxing. I saw a huge fish jump out of the water in front of us when we were in the middle of the lake. It made me wish I had a fishing rod! I would return for a smaller, calm lake to canoe on; however, there was a fair bit of noise from the road and the train tracks. We had a nice time, nonetheless. It's nice to be able to get to a lake so close to home.

this is only my third time at this lake the first two times I enjoyed it but only caught small bluegill. they were abundant but awfully small today in 2 hours I caught 12 fish, each one larger than average, with 4 huge hand size fish.
