Good trails, both hiking and walking/biking. 3 different parking lots, and connects to the Louisville Loop. Took my gods there and the trails were good.

Part of Louisville loop, 10 miles long along water and fields of flowers and farmland. Lots of amish bicycles and e-bikes walkers and joggers. Most say hi 👋

Came to Pope Lick for the summer “Creature Feature” event and checked out the park as well. Beyond the urban legend this park is known for, the park itself is really beautiful. Wild flowers bloom along the entrance and display a bouquet of color. The park grounds have a lot of trails and signage clearly marks the routes. There is a nice park map which also helps navigate the large area Pope Lick covers. Soccer fields and ample parking make this an ideal spot to visit and host fun events like the one we attended. Plan to come back and explore more. (Just maybe not near the train bridge after dark)

Great, flat cement trails at this picturesque park. A lot to see on the walking paths. Easy parking with access to a number of soccer fields.

One of my favorite places to run. It's always kept clean, has some good scenery and restrooms at the appropriate places along the loop. It's also connected to Beckley and Turkey Run parks for added mileage, etc. You can run/bike all the way from Shelbyville road to Bardstown via Broadrun. They also have soccer fields, several trails for hiking running, and a track to run as well.
