This is my favorite "out" spot for paddle boarding or tubing! This is also an excellent swimming hole, lots of easy places just to dip your toes in and splash around a bit. Very popular! If you're going just to chill by the water make sure you get there EARLY because on a weekend it will be packed with people all along the southern shore.

This was a beautiful spot. It's nice to see some water in a hot climate. There was hiking available, so many beautiful birds, and people cayaking down the water way. There were lots of families around enjoying the water, parking was also very easy and available at more than one location.

Great area for swimming, shallow area for kids to play. Nice hiking trails to explore.

There is a fee here- $12 for day use if I remember correctly. Remember that these fees are essentially donations to protect these amazing natural resources:) This is a gorgeous area! Lots of people with kayaks & canoes, fishing poles, chairs & picnics enjoying the river. There is a giant parking lot here :) Trails give you very scenic views.

Really cool spot! Great to hang out and swim. Way better to paddle down from water users though! Parking was difficult. I think the goldfield lot has more then this lot.
