Loved what bit of the park I saw. Came for a quick peek and visit. The park was clean. Nice beaches. Lots of hiking. The one thing that I felt that lacked was picnic tables in the day use areas. Benches and seating in the park and signs on the hiking paths. All would be super beneficial to those not familiar to the park.

We camped at the campground site 28 and it was great. We had eight people in our party with two tents. The site does allow for three tents. The facilities were wonderful, they have flushable toilets and showers.. The kayaking was spectacular and we saw sea lions and Eagles among the other various wildlife we saw.

Penrose Point State Park in Washington is a beautiful spot for outdoor fun. You can hike through forests or relax on the beach. It's a peaceful place to enjoy nature and spend time with family and friends. Don't forget to bring a picnic!

Great afternoon retreat to wander the woods or explore the beach. The campground is well maintained with full facilities. I highly recommend stopping by for an afternoon adventure or staying for a weekend camping trip. Bring your mud boots to explore the spit on low tide and your hiking shoes and enjoy the self guided nature walk. This is a great place for all ages.
