Hands down the best RV location in the entire US. Yosemite is a close second to this Hip Urban Airstream lifestyle location. Hidden Gem and if you are lucky enough to land here, DO IT!! Cycle Town Lake, Take the kids to Butler park or the central library, or the Springs! enjoy all that downtown Austin has to offer from this walk everywhere RV urban park. So blessed to make this my home for now….!!

Location, location, location! If you are visiting Austin in an RV, this is THE only place to stay. It is in the Barton Springs neighborhood, which is a very cool, edgy neighborhood with lots of restaurants, bars, and food trucks. You are also close to South Congress, which is another very fun area for shopping and eating. There are tons of parks and green space all around you with bike paths. And the pedestrian bridge is close by allowing you to walk into downtown Austin. Also, there are e-bikes and e-scooters for rent all around. Grab one and get to your destination quickly! The campground itself is a little quirky, but we had a great spot and very friendly neighbors. Also, it’s very quiet in the park as many people stay for long periods and aren’t there to party outside of their vehicle late at night. You have to call to book a spot, they have no website. But it worked out great for us. We loved staying at Pecan Grove!

Lived here and loved it. You will hear from anyone who stays here about the location to downtown and Barton Springs. RVing is an unforgettable experience and this park was an important contribution to my memories and life. Forever grateful.

Smallish park with lots of long-termers. Right in the middle of South Austin south of the river, near Zilker Park. It was probably there long before anything in south Austin was built around it. The short term spaces are roomy enough once you're in, but the roads are not wide. Between the long-term rigs, garden sheds, added-in spaces, and small porches, the place is like a giant game of Tetris. Lots and lots and lots of trees to deal with. Spaces are gravel. There is a laundry room that I saw several people using. Bathrooms were okay. Did not try the showers. Small grassy area for dogs (not fenced), but I never saw anyone there. No other amenities. You can only approach it from one direction (east side). We could hear the sound of patrons on the patio of the Italian restaurant next door and people on the street, but it didn't bother us. Manager was friendly. They do not take credit cards - cash or check only. Definitely has an Austin vibe. Right next door to restaurants, and very walkable to everywhere. Scooters and bikes for rent all over the place. We camped at Pecan Grove RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Love, Love, Love this place!!! I found this place while trying to find somewhere near Lady Bird Lake to hook up our Airstream and enjoy the surrounding area. I read reviews and decided we should give it a try. We've stayed here twice already in less than 2 months (we couldn't wait to come back, but spots are taken up quick and months in advance) and we couldn't ask for a better location. It's a quiet place, neighbors who call it home and temp visitors are very nice and friendly! We take our scooters and enjoy the ride up to Butler Metro Park where there's scenic views of Austin's downtown city scape. We take our dogs with us and love taking them to Auditorium Shores Dog Park, our dogs had a blast here and so did we! Restaurants, parks (including Zilker Park) all located within walking or short drive distance away from Pecan Grove RV park. Thanks to Bob for the warm hospitality!
