This park is beautiful. Came on a Thursday night for a quick hike. It was super quiet when we went. Although we didn’t explore many trails and mostly stuck to the access road due to a potential storm passing, the views were great. Easy access from the southeast side, located just off I-95. I’d love to come back and hike more trails.

On weekends expect long queue of cars at entry in the morning. There are multiple hikes and picnic areas. There are several restrooms as well. Swimming, wading and going in the river is allowed. Many folks go with tubes and enjoy the clean river water. The waterfalls are not big but pretty nonetheless. A lot of green trails to try.

One of the best hidden parks in MD. Great for biking and river scenery. The low level of the river makes it excellent for sitting on the banks and chatting while grilling up some nice hot dogs or jerk chicken. You can’t beat a day like that.

The park was very beautiful, the swinging beach, water falls are amazing. Overall, the experience was great! I went on weekdays and nobody charged me any money for the entrance.
