About This Campsite
Welcome to Paradise Island RV Resort
Paradise Island RV Resort offers a straightforward, no-frills place for travelers and long-term residents alike. Located conveniently close to several grocery stores, eateries, and other urban conveniences, it provides a peaceful retreat while still being near essentials like Walmart, Dollar General, and even some fast-food restaurants like KFC and Taco Bell. It's not a typical vacation destination, but it offers a comfortable resting place for both brief stops and extended stays.
Key Features:
- Spacious RV spots for short and long-term stays.
- Bathroom facilities with showers.
- Laundry services operated via card or app (no cash and no detergent on-site).
- A recreational area with a pool, BBQ setup with propane, and shuffleboards.
- Entertainment options include billiards, books, games, table tennis, Foosball, and more.
Tips and Considerations:
- Best suited for residents and those planning extended stays, rather than transient visitors looking for overnight stops.
- The site's layout is more oriented to those staying long-term, with closely packed spaces that may not be ideal for larger RVs or last-minute travelers.
- Given the permanent resident nature, visitors have noted a community atmosphere, though some experiences might vary based on personal interactions.
- The site may benefit more those looking for a stable, community-centric living space over a short vacation get-away.
Overall Thoughts:
Paradise Island RV Resort is well-maintained by a diligent and friendly staff, perfect for individuals looking for a welcoming community. However, those seeking a typical camping experience with room to roam may find it somewhat limiting. The resort's environment highlights its strong communal aspect, offering many amenities to make a resident feel at home, but it might not suit everyone seeking a standard overnight RV park experience. Overall, it's a safe and pleasant choice if you align with its offerings and atmosphere.

This is an RV park. A very large percentage of the population live here, short term or long term. This is not a camping situation with tents and such. There are not any rooms to rent, etc. There is a nice staff which keep it clean, orderly, and a welcoming operation. For those traveling, it is an adequate to pass through. There are bathrooms with showers, laundry facilities (cards or application run, no cash, no detergent for purchase), a nice pool area with a BBQ (propane and appropriate utensils are provided) and shuffle boards, an industrial ice machine, and billiards, along with a room with books, games, table tennis, Foosball (coin operated), and a few other things. It is located in close proximity to grocery stores, Dollar General, Wawa, Walmart, a couple liquor stores and a few eateries such as KFC, tacobell, and Ihop. This is not much of a vacation destination, but a nice, no frills place to spend some time with a nice, peaceful community of fairly welcoming adults.

Just wanted to offer this as warning to those needing a one night stay on their way through Florida. We learned the hard way that this is more of a “permanent” resident situation. A lot of mobile homes and more permanent RVs packed into very small spaces. I mean that three steps from our door was our neighbors waste hose. The little streets are not meant to maneuver anything over 35ft. I’m sure the people that live there are very nice and the ones we met in our short stay (1 night) were friendly, but this needs to be in a trailer park category vs RV resort. There are so many more options for easier one night stay and we just learned the hard way.

I know that it probably wasn't pleasant for some. When we got there it wasn't either but that wasn't due to the staff it was due to a women that lived there that was inserting herself into buisness that wasn't hers in regards to the site number we were given. Luckily, Chad and a gentleman who said he was Kathy's son came out. Chad was awesome he was helping us all the way but unfortunately due to our 30 foot camper along with our truck which is long it being very dark and the women just being loud and annoying we couldn't successfully park in the spot. They got Kathy on the phone she told us which spot was available, and Chad took us to the spot and helped us until we were fully parked. This was after hours, so we are so grateful that Chad was there, and he did his absolute best to make sure we were parked and set. I then called the after hour phone number Nancy picked up and informed her of the situation. She set us up in the computer for that site number we moved to. The following morning, we finalized everything with Vicky.Checking out, my spouse asked a gentleman that worked there about our way getting out he was nice enough to knock on the door of the next site so they can move their car so we could just pull straight out.Than we ran into Chad again, and again, he made sure we were OK coming out he is awesome for sure. I was able to meet Leslie, who I spoke to during my booking, such a sweet person. This was our final stop for our road trip, and we were happy it was good. Rv parks are limited in these parts. The area and people in the park shouldn't affect your experience and ours was good for the days we stayed. Now, if you're absolutely picky, which I understand , then make sure you stop by first to see if there is availability and meet the staff and judge from there. Again, for the amount you will pay in these parts conveniently.located in the heart of things it's not going to be easy to find an RV Park.
