This was our second time returning to Oak Lake to celebrate our daughter's 4th birthday. We stayed last weekend and were able to use a gazebo for her party. I cannot say enough good things about Oak Lake. What sets Oak Lake apart from the rest is absolutely the hospitality of the patrons as well as the staff. There is a wonderful sense of community (which is very important to us as we also travel with our special needs son) and they are very welcoming to overnight guests as well. The grounds are well taken care of including the bathrooms, there are activities to keep the children active, the store is well stocked, the yurt was very clean and again.....the staff is just top notch! Our neighbors who were camping next to us at yurt 2 were also super friendly so that was a plus! We had a fantastic time, can't wait for birthday number 5!

We just stayed for the 4th time this season as this RV resort. It is hands down our most favorite place to camp! From the sites, to the staff (and amazing management), the activities, the family-like atmosphere, it’s just the best. My son also agrees it’s his favorite campground and that his favorite person there is Tim 😊. (My son would like to add that the glow rides are the absolute best thing ever!) We are even hoping to get ourselves a seasonal site here for the 2025 camping season it’s THAT good! 😉. The staff is always going above and beyond for all campers, and there are ALWAYS fun activities for kids and adults every time we’ve been there! This weekend was our last camping trip of the season and we’re so sad it’s come to an end. Can’t wait to have so many more family memories and laughs at Oak Lake!

My wife and I stayed here at Oak Lake RV Resort the weekend of Oct. 4-9th 2024. Activities: It was a BLAST! It was Halloween weekend with plenty of activities and a food truck! They even had a haunted house which was pretty cool! Everything was pretty nice! Staff: The staff was AMAZING! Very nice and welcoming upon showing up for my campsite. They had a younger kid show me to my site and helped me back it in which he was very pleasant as well! Once on my site I noticed the water faucet was pretty far away and didn’t have a long enough hose to reach it. That younger employee then told me he would be right back and got me a hose to make sure it worked out! Over all the staff get a 10/10! Amenities They have a little bath house and a laundry room for guest to use! They also have playgrounds and a dog park for your pet! The bath houses were really clean and very nice! (Compared to a lot of campgrounds) I didn’t use the laundry room or even went in there but the playground and dog park looked very nice! Overall this campground was PERFECT! In every way for me and my wife! We had a blast and I’m sure everyone reading this review would too! Thank you to the Oak Lake Staff for making my stay enjoyable!

We have a seasonal site here and I can not say enough amazing things about Oak Lake. It is one of the cleanest, and coziness campgrounds you will find! Campsites are wooded, no two are the same which adds to character of the campground. Amazing clean lake with inflatables for kids to play on, and a sandy bottom! Fantastic trail around the perimeter for hiking, biking or for your golf cart. If you don't have a golf cart don't worry they rent them! Perfect place to disconnect from civilization and enjoy the outdoors! Wonderful atmosphere, activities and swesome management that make everyone seasonal and weekend campers feel at home and welcome.

This campground was the first time we went here since our friends have been going there and we had a good time. This campground is VERY kid friendly which is a plus for us with events usually happening frequently. However, the lot sizes are very tight and narrow. They are an extremely strict with rules and out patrolling constantly. They will nickel and dime you with everything which is why I’m giving 4 stars. No early or late check out without charging you $25. Even if no one is at the spot prior they won’t let you in an hour early without charging. This is a downfall especially if people are traveling far to come there. Overall worth a shot going if you have kids.
