Lot of mixed reviews so here is my 2 cents. I stayed for 7 days, including labor day weekend. I have a 30-ft class A, towing. 1) there are no road signs to direct you here, but my GPS led me straight to it. 2)staff is awesome and keep a clean campground. 3) I was in site 16 and the road in is tight, but it's so beautiful with all the trees. I was able to get parked by myself so it can be done. 4) the holiday weekend was noisy late thru the night, campers playing music loud and the koa had a party with a DJ under the tent, BUT the campers were playing family friendly music with their kids and it was a very positive vibe. I enjoyed it. Maybe if I was there for 1 night after a long drive I may have been irritated. But I had a blast and we all partied on the dance floor under the tent. Monday after Labor Day, all campers had cleared out and it was super quiet. 5) the office does not answer the phone if they are busy, but I sent a text and they responded to my issue promptly. 6) laundry, restroom and shower facilities are not modern, but they were clean and functioning properly. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again, but I would also keep in mind the time of year it is and the potential for a noisy crowd.

We stayed in 2 different sights …the second night was a wooded area—- great. First night more of a parking lot vibe. The people working at the park are great … very accommodating. Nice KOA and not noisy and right off a highway like some. A small dog park but there were some reasonable areas to walk my 2 doodles.

We pulled into New York City North/Newburgh KOA on our return trip to our home in Maine, for one night. The staff greeting was Awesome along with the escort to our site. Once we arrived at our site we were super excited to see the size and how the site appeared to be in the woods. We were so impressed with the site, facilities and staff, we booked a week in August next year prior to leaving.

Second time here. This time on the other side of the campground. I thought it was much nicer than our first time here. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Almost all the sites are shaded. This time the other pool was open but the first pool was not. It was the opposite last time we were here but they replaced the liner in the pool that was closed last time. Grounds are very well maintained, good upkeep overall but the dog's park looks like it was reduced in terms of items with in the gated area. Not really a big park, just a fenced in area. Great for small dogs, not big ones. Mini golf was redone recently and looks great, is actually kind of challenging! Roads are tight, must take your time driving through but it's doable. Overall a good time. They certainly try to do things with the kids to give you that resort feel, movies at night, build a pet, weekend pancake breakfast. I think for the most part, as a KOA, it's one of the better ones. Certainly had a better experience this time than the first time. Not sure if we'd stay here for more than a few days but for a night or two it's great.

Stayed for two nights in our 33' travel trailer. Nice wooded yet pull threw site on the end. A little tight on some of the roads because of the wooded environment. Definitely need to pay attention and take your time driving threw, and getting in and out of the sites. Enjoyed the area, stayed to visit FDR's home and Angry Orchard cider, highly recommend both and the KOA provided a good location to visit both.
