This KOA was a one night stop for us. It’s very nice and clean. It’s in the middle of town, surrounded by neighborhoods and along the Mississippi River. Looks like there are both temporary and longer term guests. The laundry room was nice and clean, normal size machines and large capacity machines. Normal size was $2.50 a load to wash and dry. It’s a decent proximity to the French Quarter. Overall, we liked it.

One of the nicest K.O.A.'s we've ever stayed at. Doreen was an absolute sweetheart. She helped us find stuff to do, set up shuttles to and from downtown, and did everything she could to make our stay with them enjoyable. The bathrooms and showers were pleasant and immaculately clean. Wasn't a very big campground, so make sure you book early. About 35 minutes from the french quarter, but shuttle bus ran multiple times every day. If you're looking for a campground near New Orleans, this is by far the best one! Adam and Heather Chicago

This place is great, clean and staff there is amazing. Everyone welcomes you with a smile and they are ready to help you park in your spot, give you information where to go and what to see. They have a shuttle in this park that will take you on a tour through the city. Gift shop is so nice with variety of beautiful gifts that I wish they had a website so I can shop on line for it. Thank you Doreen, Dave and rest of the great staff at New Orleans KOA for making our stay even better. See you next year.

Just finished up a 2 week trip with my family and we stayed in 4 KOAs between TN, GA, AL, & LA. This campground was my favorite of all that we stayed at because of the hospitality of the staff. Every single interaction was amazing- from the desk lady, to the guys running around on the carts, and the night staff. The sites consist of a leveled concrete pad with a sidewalk and gravel for parking- the sites easily fit 2 cars. The campground was quiet (we were in a camper and were not bothered by the airplanes, nor did we have rowdy neighbors). They are in the process of updating things- the laundry room was the nicest of any KOA I’ve stayed at (I’ve been in over 20 in the past 5 years). The only recommendation for improvement would be the showers- they are really tight and need updated but this in no way affected my thoughts on staying here. We did not utilize the shuttle to the French Quarter because it didn’t financially make sense for our party of 5 when comparing the price to park with the cost of the shuttle ($15 per person to and from) but loved the idea of it being offered. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and would recommend this to anyone who is looking to visit NOLA, without being in the middle of all the crowds/craziness.

My husband and I stayed at the New Orleans KOA for almost 2 months. We stayed to ourselves, picked up our dog’s poop, cleaned up after ourselves in the bath house and laundry. We were only there at night. I was the only one working as we had become homeless due to my husband losing his job. We were trying to make ends meet and paying the KOA so we’d have a decent place to stay. There were a few times we were late (but still same day) with paying our lot rent. After all the time we’d been there, money spent paying KOA high prices and my husband telling the owner Paul about our situation another “owner” Deborah told us to GET OUT because we were after 11:30 am paying this morning. So if you want a tiny KOA with nothing to do but a swiping pool, then stay here with these people who are afraid their patrons are going to ghost them in the middle of the night (yes Paul actually said that) or you can stay further in New Orleans with down home friendly people who won’t kick you while you’re already down. These people proved why I have no faith in humanity.
