Expensive for the condition of the park. The staff were good. You will get your money’s worth using the waterpark and adventure park because you get a considerable discount. We had a premium waterfront XL site and beautiful lake views! The site itself was okay. For an extra-large site, our 46-foot fifth wheel and truck barely fit, and per the rules, you are not allowed to park on the grass. So, take note of that. Also, if you look at the park map and book a premium XL waterfront site closer to the turnaround, there is a rock fence post that circles the exterior of the turnaround that will pose an issue for any big rig, which the website does not mention when you book. We chose to back up instead of taking on the challenge like another reviewer, and we were on Site #30. We had no problem backing up, but this was during a non-busy day, Wednesday morning, and there were maybe less than ten rigs in the park, and no one else was leaving that morning. I could not imagine a busy morning when everyone was trying to go and the park was full of rigs. I highly suggest big rigs sticking with a pull-through site like other reviewers suggested, no matter how badly you wanted a waterfront view. Ensure you stick to the enclosed directions emailed to you regarding what road to take coming into the park, which is Bell Rd.

We were thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness of our campsite and amenities at Nashville Shores Lakeside Resort, where we enjoyed a relaxing stay along with the thrill of the water park and the convenience of its proximity to Nashville water park. The attention to detail and high standards for cleanliness made our experience truly exceptional and we are already looking forward to our next visit.

So I’m going to give you the good first and then the bad. The Good-The property itself (externally) is very nice and well kept. The water park is huge, they have water sports (jet skis, kayaks, etc.), outside picnic areas, treetop adventures….so lots to do outside! And the lake is beautiful! The Bad-We rented a lakeside cabin, and from the photos on the website, it looked like it was okay, but we were definitely BAMBOOZLED on these photos! The cabin needs updating ASAP! Charging $1000 for 3 nights for these living accommodations is UNACCEPTABLE! We were welcomed to spider webs hanging throughout, the floors about to fall in (bathroom), spiders in the sheets and on the pillows, and it was not cleaned properly at all (bathroom nasty, refrigerator dirty, to name a few things). And we understand that cabins attract spiders, but you could tell immediately when we walked in they needed to SPRAY! I’m so thankful that we brought our own sheets, cover, Lysol, Lysol wipes, pillows, etc., because we ended up sleeping on the couch for 3 nights because we were afraid to sleep in the bed. And they make sure to get your money before you arrive to stay, just so you don’t get a refund! This was NOT a resort feel when it came to the living arrangements!

This is a campground with a beach on Percy Priest Lake, and a water park. We loved the beach, but did not utilize the water park, although l would certainly recommend it to those with families, as it looked fantastic. Regarding the campground: In the bathrooms by the store, the 2nd and 3rd toilets were plugged and unusable for the first 4 days we were there. One was eventually cleared, but the other remained unusable our entire stay(11 days). On a positive note, the restrooms/showers in the campground proper, near the dumpsters, were kept clean and functioning every day. What these restrooms could use, is a paved pathway or stairs from the lower lake drive(sites 20-40) up to the bath house. A campground grounds crew worker who who identified himself as Egypt, and operating a blower, approached my husband, who was sitting at our campsite. He did not, apparently, speak English well, but tried to get my husband to give him money, either in cash or electronically. He offered to blow the few leaves off our patio rug as a special service. He pulled up his pant leg to show my husband that he had a knee injury. It was clear that the scar there was quite old. Regardless, this is inappropriate behavior that a campground employee should be panhandling the campers.

Campground itself is very nice we enjoyed it! However, they do not tell you but the water park and tree adventure is only open on Saturday and Sunday. Also they had this huge adult party at the park Thursday and the music and everything was loud until 11pm. We came assuming the water park was open all week only to find out it was not.
