We live down the road so we stop here often. It gets busy during the summer so we tend to stop during hours when there are not many people since the beach area is very small. We love to hike the trails and enjoy the peace and quiet. The best time to be here is during the winter. It is beautiful and again, peaceful. The park is always clean and looks amazing.

We frequent many county parks. This one takes the cake for most confusing and not worth an entrance fee at all. It appears they are performing maintenance…but I would never return. This is disappointing bc it could have a good beach and additional amenities.

If you looking to fish from shore go elsewhere they do not have that at this park!! That is on 2 amazing lakes.. but they do have a beach and two boat launches.. that you are not allowed to fish from.

OK beach. Positives: nice breeze comes across the lake, playground right there, clean convenient bathrooms with showers, laid back atmosphere. Negatives: parking is not close so drop off your stuff 1st, rocky entering the water, grilling and alcohol technically not allowed.
