My experience of this park is only from the parking lot where Godfrey Parkway becomes West River Road along the river, under the Ford Bridge, and on to Lock & Dam #1. The river views, and particularly the bridge, are imposing. Plenty of parks benches to relax and take in the views. Looking forward to the observation deck opening on the local & dam. A scenic park to feel the oneness with nature in the city of Minneapolis. Perhaps one of the best park in the Twin Cities. The views of the water falls are wonderful. This park houses the Minnehaha falls and the creek, that flows into the Mississippi River. Located conveniently from the metros and downtown Minneapolis, one can feel the closeness with nature through fun activities like hiking, bike riding, fishing etc.

A scenic park to feel the oneness with nature!! This park houses the Minnehaha falls and the creek, that flows into the Mississippi River. Located conveniently from the metros and downtown Minneapolis, one can feel the closeness with nature through fun activities like hiking, bike riding, fishing etc. I loved hiking with the park and bike riding to Lake Nokomis and Haiwatha from here.
