The most unwelcoming staff I have ever met at an rv resort. I was well aware of early check in policy and had even contacted customer service to let them know I may be early. Check in was at 1 , I arrived at 12:47. When I arrived I greeted the guy(crotchety old Man) at the gate with a Hello, he gruffly looked at me and said you are early and the next time you arrive early you will be charge the $30 for early check in , shocked at his greeting I responded I am very aware at the policy, charge me the $30. I was then told to drive forward and wait at the curb to be escorted to my spot, that escort arrived at 1:00 so technically It was not an early check in. Believe me there won't be a next time.

Mesa Spirit had clean grounds, but struggled the whole year I lived there with the garbage dumpsters over flowing then at the end they were charging a monthly garbage on top of the "rent". This is all concrete and gravel with a small amount of plantings. It does have some small fruit trees and palms but they do not contribute to shade or greenery. Security staff were nice and helpful. Most office staff were also nice. But office hours are short so if you still work it is often a problem to get assistance. FREQUENT issues with Wi-Fi, no water, electric going out, and gate keys not functioning (4 times in the year I was there for the gate, the rest I lost count 🙄). About 4 fenced dog areas, but they are all rock, not kept clean and little shade. Other campers were not considerate about care of the dog areas. Often reports of items being stolen from outside trailers. Mail delivery (USPS was horrible). Cost was reasonable, activity room is nice, also has a sewing and wood working area, pickle ball courts, mini golf. Activities are a regular occurrence during busy season (nothing the other months for full timers).

This is our second time here. The first visit was two years ago and we really enjoyed our stay. The park was not as enjoyable this second visit. It’s not a bad resort but definitely not great. It was clean and no safety concerns but the park was in need of maintenance. In our two week stay, this time, the pool in the back never had a working heater. Overgrown and many empty sites. The jury is still out on if we’ll be back.

Not sure where to begin. Every part of it was bad. We pulled in to have a gentleman take us to our RV space in the middle of Park models. Showed us the power supply and left. These areas were so small yet there was an entirely different area with nothing but RVs and well over 50 open spaces that could handled a rig that’s 45 feet like ours. It took us 30 minutes to get in this little hole. even the owners of the park models on all sides said they always do this and they don’t understand why. There’s so many spaces that can accommodate our rigs. Why would they put a large rig in a small spot allowing for hazard. I then went to the front desk the next morning to make sure they got my AAA/Sam’s discount. Because my daughter and my husband were on the reservation, they assured me I would get the credit the next day after my husband and daughter finished filling out paperwork. Once registration paperwork was finished, then said it’s too late you’re not getting your credits because the spot is already paid for. The first time I went in there I overheard the conversation in front of me and the poor treatment they treated this lady. I thought for sure she had it coming. only until I was the next one up and they treated me like garbage and zero customer service skills the way they talk down to me. They challenged everything I said. The friendlier I got the worst they were. The trash is on the opposite end of the resort, where you have to drive to each day to dispose of. Concrete next to our space was in crumbles. When my daughter booked reservations they asked the age and how many people. She has three children and listed that in advance. When she showed up, she was told she would have to leave as children were not welcome. They should’ve caught this in the reservation information weeks in advance.. Then they proceeded to tell her they will let us stay for the weekend, but after that, we will not be welcomed back. These are “their exact words. Customer service!! Sometimes it’s not what you say it’s how you say it . Don’t walk run. Worse experience ever.

Pools and amenities are nice . I gave Mesa Verde a 4 beacause we were parked right next to a mobile home. I would of like to have a better view. Dont expect views or anything to look at when parked.
