Overpriced. Although many KOA are overpriced lately. Odd office hours, the office is closed 11:30 to 12:30 check-in is at 13:00. Many full time RV's. Many people mentioned rude staff, they were not rude to me but I could tell they were short on patience. This is not a "have fun" RV park. It's a I need a spot for work or just on my way thru kinda KOA. Most of the surrounding parks are 55 and older. This is a dirty, odd KOA. Look at it in satellite mode on the map. I will cross this park off my list. I will not be coming back.

The staff was very friendly, campground very clean, close to shopping and gas. Price was higher than most, but out of 5 messages we left searching for a site, they were the only that called back. We were ok with paying the extra. We would stay there again.

After checking in I found out the next day that they had charged me for more days than I asked for. When I went to the office the first thing that the clerk did is point at the NO REFUNDS sign on the desk. Then some guy from the back made a rude comment that I signed the reciept so it is my problem not theirs... It came to the point as to were they kicked me out of the park because I wanted a refund for the 3 extra nights they charged my credit card for... They did eventually give me a refund but they held my money for 6 weeks and I had to involve my bank about the fradulant charges... I will never stay at any KOA again ever after this experience!

This was our first visit to the Apache junction area. This campground is located in a great spot. It's easy to get to, and it's easy to access other needs like grocery, etc. Concentrating on the positives, the office/store was clean, well stocked and appealing. The campground grounds were extremely well maintained. Their outdoor staff was working somewhere to maintain a great appearance throughout the day, and they were quietly subtle about it. The bathrooms were clean and stocked well. In 5 days, I only waited once for a shower, and the park was full. The laundry room was clean and had quality equipment. Other than a swimming pool, hot tub, and community room, there just isn't much to do on-site. Probably not enough to keep young kids engaged. There are however, many great attractions nearby. The dog park could use a little more attention. I blame the residents, the set up is great. Maybe people would clean up after their pets more if they saw a staff member more often? The staff was friendly and helpful with the exception of just one ill-mannered woman. Rather than allowing her to ruin my day, I walked away and returned later to work with a pleasant person.

Great staff. Clean campground. Pool is fantastic since it is AZ hot and no shade. Nice large spaces as well.
