We booked site 12 for Labor Day weekend. We paid extra to be beside the lake. We could see the lake at a distance but could not access it due to the poison ivy and steep descent. Our spot was so small we could barely get our tent and screen gazebo in the slot. The picnic table would not fit inside our gazebo due to the huge size. We had to move it out of the pad. Sites were very close together. Quiet time was designated to begin at ten o’clock. Our neighbors came in the second night with three tents on their spot and four cars, one which blocked us in. We had to ask them to move. That night they were so loud we finally had to go ask them to quiet down after midnight. No host ever came through to witness the chaos next door. We are leaving a day early to avoid another night of kids screaming and adults talking and laughing so loud if felt like they were in our tent with us. No thank you, we won’t be back.

We camped here and found it to be very nice. No one was close to us but I can see how when it is full you could be very close to the nxt camp site. Bathrooms were fairly clean and there is 1 handicap shower with a hand held sprayer.

Really enjoyed staying at this campground it is absolutely beautiful quiet and clean. The only issue is the poison ivy!!!! Camper beware poison ivy is everywhere I mean everywhere and I am highly allergic to it, in fact upon looking at our original reserved site we had to move because of the poison ivy.

No washer or dryer, sites not level, long walk to trash can. But the showers were nice.

First time camping with our toddler. We didn’t want to go to far just in case she didn’t like it so 20 min from Cartersville MAX. Was a great thing for us! The site was pretty close to the water so my husband fished all night long. There were rocks to the water so taking the kayaks was kinda hard but there is a boat Ram if wanted. The beach area was nice too pretty clean and not too deep for the kids! Reservations were pretty straight forward online. Bathrooms start cleans but obviously while the weekend went by they got more and more dirty. Definitely recommend if you just want to get away for a little while.
