About This Campsite
Mcduffie Park Aka Hidden Park
Mcduffie Park, affectionately known as Hidden Park, is a charming oasis nestled behind two rows of houses, offering a serene escape amidst a bustling neighborhood. While the specific address is not available, its hidden nature adds to its allure and sense of adventure.
This park is a tranquil haven characterized by its plentiful shady trees and a long corridor ideal for leisurely walks. It's a place where locals enjoy communing with nature, often accompanied by their pets. Every Sunday, visitors can partake in tai chi classes, and a free little library can be found at one end of the park, encouraging a sense of community and sharing.
Important Considerations:
- The park is generally well-maintained, offering a peaceful atmosphere, particularly appealing for early morning strolls.
- Dog owners frequent the park, although some may not adhere to leash rules. It's advisable to visit during quieter times if you're visiting with children or anxious pets.
- Given its hidden location, newcomers might find it challenging to locate the entry initially. An exploration or a quick online search for guidance can enrich the experience.
Overall, Mcduffie Park is a lovely pocket of tranquility that is best enjoyed with a bit of planning around peak times and a readiness to enjoy its unpretentious charm.

This park is a hidden park placed behind two rows of houses. It features lots of trees and a long corridor for walking and bringing your pets. Some of the houses are open and beautifully designed which makes this park unique! Sunday's there is tai chi classes and at the end there is a large little library. One of my favorite parks because it is hidden. You have to go and find it.

Love this park, but have to walk my skittish dog early due to irresponsible dog owners who let their untrained dogs they cannot control off leash and run around! I'm afraid someone is going to get hurt! Be careful what time of day you go and weekends get crazy with dogs off leash!

Pros: generally well kept, quiet, shady trees, free library. Cons: most dogs not leashed which is hard for my anxious dog, and hard to find the park at first, and only 1 true place to sit. See pic#1 for what entry looks like. I'd go again though.
