Love this cove, great for kids as the shallow bank goes out pretty far and during low & high tides provides a safe area to walk & swim in the water. Just be mindful of sting rays, halibut, calms, and snails as your walking along. This spot also has bench grassy areas, public restrooms with show (cold), and a lifeguard.

Lots of open space for a get together, BBQ, picnic or parties on the grass or sand. Launch a kayak from the beach side or fish easily off the rocks. I have even seen snorkelers spearfishing around the rocks. Has a few fire pits, but better get there early if you want one. Road to the point is mostly sand, it gets dusty and trucks constantly spin their wheels throwing sand and dust everywhere. Nice views of the sunset over the bay if you can deal with noise from the transients. Lots of RVs, trucks and generators. Policing more would help keep the trouble makers out.

An incredible place to fly kites, which is what we've been doing here since I was a kid. Beautiful, grassy park right next to the sand and water, with plenty of free parking nearby. Not far from hotels, restaurants and Sea World.

Not a fan of this sand. A lot of shells, rocks, hard sand that feels like cement. Wouldn’t recommend for volleyball. Fine for sitting and reading

I really enjoyed this place as a venue for a concert festival. Parking was relatively easy you may have to walk from like one of the parking lots but it was so stress-free and then the view was amazing walking in was great you had a beautiful backdrop of the roller coaster and the little bay amazing. I do think that they may have had like a shuttle taking you two other parking but we didn't research that so I'm unsure
