It was a beautiful quiet place to hike in even with the campground busy it still was very spaced out and didn't feel crowded with everyone roaming around the buildings were definitely cool to check out the brick building is humongous and you can eat lunch in there! Looks like a fabulous place to have a good time. The ocean was beautiful just a nice relaxing visit. Stop here if you want some peace and quiet! 😊

I was super impressed with the staff and cleanliness of this park and campground. The staff was on it, friendly and helpful and making sure campers were respecting the rules. We had fun exploring the trails and coastline. Saw seals too. Loved exploring the historical sites. I picked this park for camping due to close location to Seattle and would definitely go back.

Camping in the woods, close but private. Day use area was early 1900s tether point for cable holding mines across the bay. Magnificent old brick and lime mortar building. Short coast walk looking east to Bainbridge Island.

A few nice trails. Wish the park was bigger. But it was a nice paddle along the shore with a sandy beach to put the kayaks together. Nice view of Rainier.
