We love Lazy R! This was our second time camping there this summer and our first Halloween weekend! Our kids had so much fun with the activities they had scheduled as well as the different playgrounds and camp ammenities. The staff we interacted with were friendly, patient and great with our kids.

We are a traveling camper family and I have never found a place as good as Lazy River. Every single staff member is extremely helpful, very nice, and knowledgeable about their job, Janine, Bella, and Bertie in the activity center have become some of my daughter’s favorite people. The owner Erica is always around, and you’ll find her anywhere from leading an event to working in the snack shack, she’s very approachable and always eager to help. We have never had an issue here and if anything was even a minor inconvenience it was corrected by the staff immediately. We love this place so much that we decided to extend our stay by three months, and are already dreading leaving. I could write a novel about how wonderful the community is here, but I suggest you visit and see for yourself.

My family, close friend and I have been coming to lazy river in Granville for five years now and we are all so happy we chose this place for our yearly camping trip! The staff are amazing to say the least! Erin goes completely out of her way to make sure your stay is as comfortable and relaxing as she possibly can! The staff have become family to us and we look forward to seeing them every year! I would rate lazy river at Granville at 100 stars if I could but they only let me give them five per category. Sites and cabins are always super clean! Same with the pools and restrooms/shower rooms! They try to keep the showers as dry as possible for guests as well. Just one more example of the staff going above and beyond! And they also make sure people aren't too "LOUD" in certain places of the park😂 Til next time you guys! ❤️❤️❤️🏕️🔥

This place is awesome!! The Lazy River campground has everything, it’s the perfect place for a family vacation, reunion or just a weekend getaway. It is far enough away from big city lights and noise, yet, only a 35 minutes drive to Columbus. Granville is only 10 minutes away and Newark and Heath are a short 15/20 min. drive. The kids will never be bored, they have several play grounds, bike rentals, 2 pools & a slash pad, zip lines, ropes course, sand volleyball, pickle ball court, game room & activity center. They also have a laundry room, weight room, store & Snack Shack where you can order food and have it delivered to your site!😁 You can also rent golf carts. I almost forgot to say something about the lazy river, it is shallow and clear, which makes it a great place to cool off on a hot Ohio day!😊 The staff are super friendly and very helpful. There is nothing better than getting away during the week. Lazy R Campground in Granville, Ohio is your get away. The peaceful morning birds singing, slight breeze from the many trees which provide shade, relaxation abounds! The list of amenities is long, giant playgrounds, gaga ball pit, volleyball, zip line, and a new Pickle ball court to name a few. Check out their website for a full list of amenities and activities. There is something for every age group. The staff is professional and will see to all your needs. Come and enjoy your stay!
