you rent a camper that sleeps 8-10 people. however anyone after guest number 5 has to pay an additional $12 plus tax PER NIGHT. YOU ALREADY PAID FOR THE CAMPER. After you pay a crazy amount of money to rent a unit, please be aware you STILL have to pay for the waterslide, put put, anything you may want to do IS NOT INCLUDED. MONEY HUNGRY CAMPGROUND is what comes to mind when someone mentions land-o-pines. They made my TODDLER AND OLDER SON GET OUT THE VEHICLE just so they could band them. I WOULD RECOMMEND going to an actual resort, it is probably cheaper than CAMPING at this location. DEF. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I will never go back. They will never get any of my money again. I was taken back a bit, I had to remember where I was at. We traveled all the way from Texas to attend a family function only to be racially profiled and harassed most of the day. If it wasn’t for the lady harassing every African American party within walking distance from the front office, we would have had a nice time. I really forgot where I was, but was quickly reminded.

I want to THANK all the staff especially Ms. Candy for the Best weekend ever. Took my whole crew of 15 out to Land-O-Pines for a family gathering for the weekend and had such a blast. Will definitely do it again. Rented a site that had a camper and bunkhouse. Everything was clean, a/c worked great. Had a blast in the pool and the slide.

This was our first time there and we did enjoy ourselves. There was many things to do and the playground was great. Really clean pool, not overcrowded. Very nice guests everyone just there to enjoy themselves. My only complaint, and it’s a big one, was the NOISE. If you are looking for a campground that is heavy on the “camp” it may not be the place for you. It was great because we were within talking distance of others and things we needed. However, the noise ordinance was not upheld very well. It was after 10 and the camper in front of us was playing extremely loud music all through the night and when I contacted someone it took them 30 minutes to come out and address it. It was supposed to be quiet after 10. They also allowed the same people to park in the campsite next to us so when their visitors left at 11:00 their car lights were directly in our tent and they sat at the car talking. And this is within 50 feet of us. You would think they would be more courteous but people usually aren’t. Once I fb messaged the camp because no one was answering the phone anymore, I was told someone was just going out there 30 min later and the people were not being loud. However that is NOT the truth. Also, had they went out sooner they would have came up right on them in the act. Thankfully they finally calmed down around 11. But the tent sites are directly in the middle of the campers going all the way around with a road wrapping around them. There is no privacy and being in the middle of all the action means the cars and golf carts coming and going shine lights through your tent. They are aloud to ride around until 12. Which isn’t very convenient for those in a tent. If you’re in a camper these things may not affect you at all. The rules were not adhered to very well and we didn’t see anyone making rounds at night to have people start calming down around 9:50. The noise got extremely loud around 9:30 & didn’t die down until 10:15 or so, with the exception of the people in front of us going until 11. The music is supposed to be “for your ears only” however all day and night people blared it. If we wouldn’t have had our 3 y/o it wouldn’t have been a big deal. But I was not expecting to be dead center of all that action. When you camp, especially in a tent, you aren’t really looking for action all through the night. It’s just something to note for the future. We will be back. I felt like everything else was great. Great ice cream, great freeze pops, the game room was also cool.

Edit:upon review management did reach out and rectify the problem. I am impressed they were swift in their action and apologetic. I am choosing to change my review because I am impressed with service. I feel like this changes my opinion of LandO Pines in a more positive light. Did not receive damage deposit after staying even though we left camper more sanitized then we got it. They lie and say they sent the damage deposit to my account but never did. Camper was FULL of black mold everywhere when we first got there! Still so disgusted by the service and cleanliness of camper. Will not be staying there again!
