Horrible place, don’t recommend. Paid $5 per person just to golf at a place with holes and wasps. The food gave one of my family members food poisoning, it was not cooked right and took 1 hour to finish cooking, they also only served burgers, most of their menu is not available and we got scammed to pay $20 more than what we ordered. Bad customer service and the seasonals are not the nicest. Sites are flooded and most sites have no privacy. The pool is very small and doesn’t fit many people. The national parks and stores and stuff around here are very nice, just wish the campground was nice too. RESPONSE TO OWNER: You say there was caution tape, but we all know you just put that up now, as there were no caution tapes there and plenty of people playing mini golf on the broken first few holes. You also said in your response that it is $5, and I said that! So I don’t think what I’m saying is “not true,” I KNOW everything I said was indeed the truth. Good try trying to make yourself look better by leaving that fake reply.

Recently stayed in a cabin. The cabin was very spacious and the refrigerator and microwave were nice to have. The cabin has heat and air conditioning which was utilized during our stay. The cabin is well built and keeps out the noise. We had the fish Friday and the food was excellent. Would definitely take advantage of the bar/restaurant the next time we stay. The campground has a lot to offer. The pool, play ground, jump pad, frisbee golf, and the dog area along with the game room are all wonderful amenities. The sites are spacious. It is a beautiful campground! Repairs and upgrades don’t happen overnight, so be patient and allow them time to complete them. We will definitely be back. This was our second time staying here.

We went here two years in a row with a group for the first Halloween weekend (we rented 3 sites, 2 cabins and 2 golf carts). Two stars given because it really is a lovely campground with beautiful views, but the owners unpredictable behavior ruins the experience. We will NOT be coming back again. Pros: the view is beautiful and the sites are spacious. Lots for kids to do — love the jump pad! Good water pressure for hook ups. The male owner came around and was friendly; reminded us of activities going on and encouraged us to join in. Two dump stations. Quiet at night. The facilities were very clean. Enjoyed the music playing in the bathrooms. Golf cart traffic is regulated and feels safe. Cons: The female owner has good moments and bad moments. We personally had good interactions with her, but the people we were with did not. She has an explosive temper that I personally witnessed, as did many other campers and their children. We quickly learned that there is plenty to do but stay away from the office. Tread lightly around the owner. Reading the other negative Google reviews about the owner’s behavior makes me list her customer service skills as a BIG con. I find it very rude and unprofessional that any negative review about her behavior has resulted in her responding and blaming the customer. This is on par with the negative interactions our family had with her in person on BOTH visits we’ve made here. I wouldn’t be surprised if she responds to this review and finds something to pick apart and blame us for. Her unpredictable behavior is the sole reason why we will NOT be coming back. Non-owner related cons: Expensive for not having sewer. The pool was closed despite 90 degree forecasts. The dump station doesn’t allow you to flush your tanks. Gravel pads are coarse: 1 in traffic bond versus crushed limestone. No shade on the non-wooded sites.

Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. It is very quiet and peaceful at night with plenty of activities during the day. We brought our granddaughter camping for the first time and she had a blast and so did her parents. We like it a lot and are very happy to be seasonal campers. Never had a bad experience.

We are currently staying at Lakeview and we think this is an awesome place. The view of Lake Winnebago and sunsets are beautiful. The pool is very nice and there are so many other amenities especially for kids. They have done some really nice improvements over the last several years. When I was younger campgrounds didn’t have shuffle board, dog parks, inflatable trampolines and pee wee golf. We had a lake and a game room back then and a small store and we thought it was heaven. We will be back in 3 weeks.
