Newer RV park so not many big trees to shade your RV from the hot TX heat. They do have carports now and if we would’ve stayed longer, we would’ve rented a site with a cover. Great location. Great amenities. Gated. Literally right off of I30 and PGBT but we got used to the sound of traffic quick. Our spot was roomy and accommodated 2 cars easily. My sister and BIL stayed at one of their cottages and it was really cute. Would def stay there again.

When your seven-year-old grandson says “I wanna come here again!” you know it’s a great place!! (And you get Grandma points!!!) The pool and activity building are both amazing. We enjoyed watching the Mavs game with other residents at the Rv Park. Everybody was nice. The grills are great. The spots are well kept. The staff was very helpful.

Easy after-hours check-in... Team members are professional. The property is clean and well maintained... This is an adult oriented property although kids were there. I would say this property is worth staying at when visiting Texas.

Very well kept park. All amenities kept immaculate. We've stayed here last year as well and we keep this one as a GoTo park when we are in the area. The pool and all that goes with it are outstanding. They have added quite a few covered areas from our last visit.

Update from July 2024. Continues to a great spot to camp and certainly at the top of all options in the Dallas metro area. Sites and facilities continue to be well kept and clean. Now have some covered spaces as well, which is awesome given the TX sun and heat! No issues with hookups. Did not use wifi. 30 mins to downtown Dallas. Newer resort/modern. Very clean and well run resort. Very nice pool, hot tub, outdoor seating areas and club house with full kitchen, game room, and nice laundry facility. Also has 3 dog parks. You can exit by the club house to walk the paved trail along Ray Hubbard Lake. We would stay here again because it is clean and well run, staff is nice and helpful, campers are nice and respectful, plus close to downtown Dallas. All pads are concrete and roads are paved, so it’s a hot environment. Most have a patch of grass- great for dogs. It is an urban campground so sites are narrow but fine overall. Rows 1 and 2 have the best possibility of lake view. Some of the end sites of row 3 & 4 do as well. They reserve sites in each some to balance long and short term. All the good monthly sites in row 1 and 2 were taken while we were there. If staying in a monthly site, you also have to pay electricity. Not a cheap date when we were there in the heatwave of June & July. Balanced mix of long timers/monthly, people just storing there, and transient campers. Full hook ups are easy and work well. We had no power issues over our 6 week stay. Wi-Fi is ok. We paid extra for premium and still got throttled in the evening just about every day.
