It is so pretty here!!! But I will say 100% if you haven’t been here before do your research. We drove all over trying to find a spot where we could get to the water! Turn down the street Desert Tortoise Road and follow it down. There are some great spots to park right up on the beach area. Bring a shade tent and make sure you stake it down good. The wind is sneaky! The donkeys are WILD 😂🤣 be careful. Don’t feed them *rules* (we saw others do it but I’m scared af of them even if they are CUTE! If they are around cover your food. One of those bad boys snatched another groups apples! Please clean up your things! It’s too pretty here to have the humans ruin it. I cleaned up a bit just because. Spread that happiness 🫶🏼 definitely worth it for tourists and locals alike.

We stayed at the roadrunner camp site. Great view and clean camp sites. All amenities like restroom , power and water were working and clean. We even had donkeys walk up to the camp site at night .

Beautiful place for kids and adults. Ninja hurdles was about 45 minutes and fun. Jet skies option is there as well. Floating Restaurant was unique and food was pretty good. Check temperature and plan.

This is my ultimate favorite place to camp in the Phoenix area! They offer tons of camp sites surrounding the water so you always have a beautiful view from just about any angle. Bathrooms are clean, showers are free and there are marinas close by for added fun and convenient store options. Natural shade is pretty nonexistent though so if you go in the summer (anytime from June - October really) be sure to bring lots of artificial shade ie: extra tarps, canopies, sun clothes etc. To help keep your site as cool as possible.

We go to this park often, as it's close to home. It's never that busy and there are lots of things to do. Walking trails, boat rides, a boat launch, a restaurant on the water, plenty of picnic tables and washrooms. They have recently renovated their Discovery Centre, which is very nice. There is an entrance fee for this park, which is very reasonable considering how well they keep the park and roads up. (We paid just $7 for a vehicle.) There are also many pay campgrounds for longer stays. A very short drive from the North Valley.
