We stayed here June 20-23, 2024. We chose it because we attended a Hoover Dam tour and it was close by. Beautiful sites. Ours looked out on the lake. Very good service. They even accommodated us when I got sick and we couldn’t leave on our departure day. They graciously extended our reservation so we could stay one more day.

Beautiful view, but no shade at all from 105 degrees. Not a tree in the park and no amenities. No cable, wifi didn't work, laundry is a joke requiring an app that takes your money but doesn't work, and the bathrooms need to be rebuilt. Cleaning them might help, but not much. Left and went to a hotel. And the row of permanent residents behind the lake view get up at 6 am and put their barking dogs out on their porches. Drive anywhere through the national park and enjoy the views but skip this place completely.

We stayed here for 3 months, 2 being during the summer! It was great we enjoyed the wind storms and random rain storms and of course the view of Lake Mead. The heat during the summer is unforgiving and the only bad thing there. Many parts of our rv were destroyed but what else do you expect when temperatures are in the 120s. There is laundry that can get a bit pricey but is convenient. One set of showers each for the Men/Women. The office has a small store and a lot of neat souvenirs. All the employees are helpful and friendly. We would stay here again long term just not during the summer 🥵.

The lady who checked us in when we arrived after the office closed was super nice! She brought us firewood and really cool candle wax firestars. She was the best host that we met in our 2 week camping trip. The site is a level concrete pad at the bottom of the park. I saw lizards and several wild rabbits running around. Be aware that there are houses behind the place to park your rv and lots of the houses have cameras pointed at various places. Not sure if their cameras were pointed at us or not. The laundry is NOT coin operated. They require you to download an app and pay with a credit card. A suggestion would be to post a sign on how much it costs to use the washer and dryer. We had laundry to do, but after reading bad reviews about the laundry app, we did not do laundry here. The bathrooms were interesting. There are 2 stalls in the bathroom and 2 showers on the men's side and the same on the woman's side. My family and others staying here that I talked to complained about the lack of privacy and see-through shower curtians. There is a shower curtain that opens to a small area with 2 seats and then separate shower curtains for each shower. In the men's side, the fans did not work, and one light was not working, and the showers needed a good clorox scrubbing. My suggestion to the owner is to buy private shower curtains and use some conduit to make more private dividers in the showers and clean the showers daily. I walked around the park in the morning and saw lots of bits of trash scattered around here and there on various roads and over the brick wall at the bottom. Also saw lots of staff riding carts around. We were told that there was good wifi here, but it does not work for watching online videos or downloading documents. The Lake Mead visitors center nearby was nice enough to let my daughter use free wifi so she could do her online college classes. If you stay here, you should visit, they are super nice and sell lots of cool stuff. They also have a cactus garden with nice paths to walk on and super clean path rooms with a water refill station. One good thing about the lady who took our reservation for this park. She told us about the 3 hour hoover dam tour. We did the tour and it was amazing! Saw the Hoover dam from below the bridge and saw lots of wild sheep with horns climbing on the rocks. Saw lots of other cool stuff along the way. The guy driving the van and Cathleen the boat pilot were the best! I would highly recommend the tour! Also, you need a national park access pass to stay here and do the tour. Overall, even though the camp host was the nicest person we met on our trip, we would not stay here again since coin laundry services, wifi and clean, private showers are high on our list.

Reviews on here make me laugh. This place is a keeper on our travel list. Full hook up sites do not have trees, true = its a desert, you should not expect a wooded site. That being said, the primitive sites do have trees. RVs usually have awnings and ac. The sites are huge, the place is very clean, laundry works fine, you just have to read the directions. Lake views from RV sites are gorgeous! 5 min drive to swim or rent any kind of watercraft you want. Small store but pretty much anything you would need. Sunsets are gorgeous!
