Stayed overnight in the modern campground in site #62. We came in without a reservation and they assigned us the site. I wish we could have picked our own site as there were better sites available (closer to amenities and walking paths). Our biggest issue was that our Progressive Industries EMS disconnected power a couple times. Upon inspection we noticed our power pedestal clearly had some burn marks on the 30amp plug so we unhooked our RV from power. Luckily we had a couple extra long extension cords we could run to the unoccupied site next to us to charge up batteries in the morning. No water or sewer hookups, but the dump station at the campground entrance is one of the nicest dump stations we've used. We were able to fill potable water, dump and flush the black all at the same time. And the dumpsters are conveniently located right there as well. The fishing pond is not too far away, but it was easier to drive over to the parking lot. The swimming pond is huge and looks nice although we didn't have time to try it out. Kids loved the big playground next to the swimming pond.

Our kids LOVE Lake Elmo Park Reserve! We have not been able to explore many of the activities the park has to offer, but we do spend time at the swimming pond. We love it! They have large, permanent umbrellas available if you get there early enough to snag one. There are great spaces around the chlorinated pond, a park, bathrooms, and nice grass space available to play!

It's perfect! There is a campus, long trails, a beach swimming pond, and a park! You'll see yourself if you want to give it a try. This park is huge! Good luck!

We attended the bluegrass festival today and my kids loved the experience.. the park is beautiful I will come again for morning walk.

Love this place. Perfect for family or couple to walking away from city or problems. I like how they set the sign shows where you go. At first we did stop by Nordic areas. Highly recommend stop by. Fyi lake Elmo park is a huge and there have beach but have to drive more further.
